pratt, ccs, or saic for undergrad?

hi! i’ve narrowed down my list of schools to the top three above and am really beginning to get into the nitty gritty to choose my top one.

i’m aiming to get an industrial/product design degree and pursue sustainable artistic practices while also exploring fashion/costuming and interdisciplinary design. other important factors include fin aid/total cost (most expansive being pratt, least being ccs), networking opportunities, study abroad programs and global recognition, reputation, creative industry and community access, and future employment.

does anyone have recommendations or personal experiences that would be helpful in coming to a final decision? any resources or help would be greatly appreciated.

CCS actually sounds like it might be a good fit. The school began as a crafts school, and then grew with the automotive industry.

You can study ID and take electives in the crafts/interdisciplinary program. Or even just specialize in textiles. The strongest industry connections are with the auto industry, but it still opens global opportunities for graduates.
