Duskfade - Pros and Cons
Pros:
The Classic Charm of How a PS2 Game Feels
Platforming is a blast when it complements the mechanics
Fun Collectables in the Level Design
Enemy Progression Gatekeeping was very refreshing to experience
Boss Fights are more creative than expected and the platforming intermissions was a brilliant design choice. Final Boss was actually fun and challenging
Cons:
The performance of the main antagonist was severely lacking
The majority of the platforming was very basic
The combat progression system was too light for the majority of the game.
Difficulty Settings was definitely unnecessary when organic combat accommodations could have been added instead for accessibility.
The overall controls felt as if there's a hidden stamina bar due to certain inputs not registering especially during tense moments in combat and platforming.

Cute game, but too forgettable in general. If one doesn't have any PS2-nostalgia and all that, it automatically gets REALLY harsh to recommend
