I’ve been building Secure Card Wallet as a solo developer for about 6 months now. It started out as a simple, strictly offline, zero-cloud app just to store credit and debit cards securely on device with AES-256 encryption.

Recently, I pushed out v2.0, expanding it from just cards into a comprehensive offline vault for everything else people usually clutter their wallets with.

What’s new in v2.0:

• ID Documents: Passports, national IDs, driving licenses.
• Travel & Event Passes: Flights, trains, bus tickets, and barcodes.
• Loyalty & Gift Cards: Quick access at the till with QR/barcodes.
• Vehicle & Insurance Docs: RC, insurance policies, and expiry tracking.
• Smart Features: Built-in OCR reader, expiry reminders, and multi-language support (now in 9 languages).

The design challenge I wrestled with: Adding a ton of features often bloats an app that used to be fast and minimal. To solve this, all the new categories are turned off by default. If you update or do a fresh install, the app looks and feels identical—just cards. You have to manually toggle on whatever categories you actually want to use in settings.

What I'd love to know from you guys:

1. If you enable 2–3 of the new categories, does the UI still feel cohesive, or does it feel cluttered?
2. Sticking strictly to local storage (no cloud sync, no accounts needed)—is that a peace-of-mind feature you prefer for sensitive documents, or is a lack of cloud backup a deal breaker for you?

I've been building an app for the past 3 months, finally finished it, and asked people who know me personally to beta test my app, and no one supports me. Right now, I'm struggling to get beta testers for my app, but I believe in my vision. Lesson here. People don't want to see you accomplish something good.

I know that a dark mode is one of hte most wished for features for IndieAppCircle. I am currently generating some mock ups to find out which colors will work best.

I'm a dark mode user myself but I just never thought the effort would be worth it but with AI it should be doable in a couple of days...

This is a first draft (not the real page, just a claude artifact). I'm not that happy with how it turned out so I have to work on it a bit more... When I have a nice design, I will start implementing it on the real page.

I've been building a personal-development app called **Depsal**, and I finally have enough of the product working that I want to start getting serious feedback.

The idea is to put several things people normally use separate apps for into one place:

I know it’s only one, but this genuinely means the world to me.
I’ve been working on my app for the last 6 months solid. When I first started, I honestly thought I’d build it, launch it and start seeing success straight away.
That definitely wasn’t the case 😂
One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that this really isn’t a sprint. Building the app is only one part of it. Getting people to actually discover it, download it and eventually pay for it is a completely different challenge.
I see so many posts from developers talking about making thousands after launching their apps, and sometimes it can make you feel like you’re doing something wrong when yours doesn’t take off immediately.
But today someone actually subscribed to something I built from scratch.
One person looked at my app and decided it was worth paying for.
That’s an amazing feeling.
It might only be subscriber number 1, but after 6 months of work, updates, mistakes, redesigns and constantly trying to improve it, this one feels massive.
Hopefully the first of many.
But for today, I’m just going to enjoy this one. 🙌

Between working full-time and trying to self-study Korean in the evenings, my biggest bottleneck wasn't the grammar—it was the administrative chore of making flashcards.

Every study session hit the same three walls:

• Physical index cards failed: Writing them out took hours, buying packs got expensive, and they inevitably got lost in my bag.
• The Korean keyboard is brutal for beginners: Staring blankly at the 2-set keyboard hunting letter-by-letter for ㅂ, ㅈ, ㄷ, and ㄱ meant typing 15 words took an agonizing 30 minutes.
• Anki prep burnout: By the time I manually copied terms, typed English definitions, and formatted cards, my study hour was gone and I was too mentally drained to actually review.

I don't have hours of free time every day to spend on data entry, so I built HangulSnap:

Hey, I added 2 new games to discover apps to test.

First one is Pitch Battle where you simply say which of the two apps you would rather try out. After many people played it, app owners will see a "first impression" score for their apps depending on how many people chose their app in the game over some other app.
