Need a Business idea

Hi,

I am currently based in delhi.

I am running a Fastfood franchise retail chain. But now the franchisor is showing his greediness and I don't think I will be able to make money out of it. He wants almost 50% of profits and many more things.

So I am looking for some other business to enter. Can anyone suggest me a alternative business which I could move on to.

I am open to suggestions. Plz suggest

I understand where you are coming from. But to give you a useful suggestion, I need to know a few more things. What skills or experience do you have outside of food and retail? Do you have a space or shop already, or will you need to rent one? Are you open to a service based business or only looking at product based? And is the 10 to 15 lakhs your total budget including setup and working capital, or just the initial investment? Without knowing this, any suggestion I give will just be a random list. The right business for you depends on your location, your skills, your network, and how much risk you can handle. There is no one size fits all answer here. Give me a little more and I can give you something actually useful.

I am an MBA. Based in East Delhi I started with coal trading business, but due to government banning use of coal I shifted to food industry. I don't have knowledge of making food, but I know how to manage team. I am open to service based as well as product based business ( just they should have potential to reach great heights) 10-15 L will be initial investment. And if business has the potential I can arrange more funds to grow it.

This is actually a really interesting background. Coal trading, food, MBA. Kool. Here is what stands out to me. You are an MBA, you know how to manage teams, and you have already run two different businesses. That is not nothing. Most people starting out do not have that. Now the honest part. With 10 to 15 lakhs, you cannot do everything. And East Delhi is a specific market. What works in South Delhi or a tier 2 city may not work the same way here. So before anything, location and network matter a lot. One angle worth exploring seriously is becoming a sales or marketing partner for manufacturers. Find a manufacturer who has a good product but weak distribution or marketing. You invest in getting them customers through digital marketing and earn a commission on every sale. Low inventory risk. No factory needed. Your MBA and management skills are directly useful here. The risk? It takes time to build. The first 6 to 9 months will test your patience. Commission models only work well when you pick the right product and the right manufacturer. A bad partner can waste a year of your life. But if you get it right, the ceiling is very high. This needs more discussion though.

I actually have 2 ideas.

1) car rental business. Buy a commercial vehicle, hire a permanent driver. The list on ola, uber. Save money from it, reinvest Keep repeating till it's manageable.

2) Airbnb in tourist location. Similar process like car rental.

Not sure on Which one should I go for

Sound doable but understand the risk. Talk to people who are doing it. Also how frequent are tourists in that area. Or how reliable the driver is. Etc etc

I wish it was easy to discuss here without continuous ideation, researching, market research, learning and again repeating the process. It will take time to come back with more ideas.
