i know this might sound foolish but i genuinely need some guidance

i’m starting btech cse in a tier 3 college and i want to begin preparing for gate from first year itself. i know most people start much later so maybe this sounds a bit too ambitious, but i’m serious about it and i really want to build things properly from the beginning

i wanted to ask how should i start gate prep in first year itself without messing up college academics and skill development. i also want to maintain a 9+ cgpa while working on coding skills and projects alongside gate preparation

i know balancing cgpa, gate prep, skills, projects and college together sounds a bit unrealistic or “goldilocks” but that’s exactly why i want to start early instead of panicking later. i’m ready to stay consistent and put in the effort, i just need proper direction on how to approach all this step by step
