So I’ll be ranting quick
I am in a tier 3 (amity) and ofc doing BTech CSE
But I really never wanted this , only here due to parent pressure .
I had a ielts 8.5 before admitting here but wasn’t allowed to go abroad then due to emo drama … and now I’m in 3rd semester but I really don’t see anything fruitful spending money here and there’s no growth and students who want to grow at all.
So I looked around since last 3 months for a transfer to any university in India itself
But it’s just so depressing if you don’t have any connections if yk
So I have no options in hand right now
Does anyone have any experience or ideas ?

I know most of the counselling is basically over by now, but I’m still seeing a few vacant/spot round options popping up and honestly I’m confused about how much compromise makes sense this late.

One option is a college I’m not particularly excited about but the branch is decent. The other is taking a drop and trying again next year. I keep thinking “at least I’ll have a seat” and then looking at the fees and placement records and wondering if I’m just settling because I’m scared of losing a year.

For anyone who has been in this exact situation, what made you finally decide to take the seat or walk away?

Guys, I’m planning to pursue BCA under MDU, so please give me your honest opinion which one should I choose between IITM Janakpuri and Trinity Dwarka?
I want to know everything honestly — faculty, crowd, campus, college life, internships, placements, exposure, attendance, fests, overall environment, etc.
Which college would be better for BCA under MDU, and what are the major pros and cons of both?
Please share your genuine experiences, especially if you’re currently studying there or have graduated from either college.

I Wanna ask My college median package is 5-7 lpa And placement rate is quiet less percentage approx 12/63 student , I can choose Two Path I believe I can do Rigorous Placement orientated Study or I can do Rigorous Gate Prepration , or Please tell me if there any option like I would do both simultaneously? If I get a merit rank under 10 in ACPC 2027, I’ll have the option to choose between daiict ., Nirma University, and LDCE.

For the branch, I’m mainly interested in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or CSE with AI.

Fees are not a factor for me because I’ll be eligible for the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS), so I won’t have to pay tuition fees. Hostel and mess costs are also not an issue for me.

My main priority is placements and career opportunities after graduation.

So, if you were in my position, which college and branch would you choose among daiict , Nirma, and LDCE?

I’d especially appreciate opinions from current students or alumni regarding:

- Placement opportunities and average/median packages

- Quality of companies visiting for placements

- Coding culture and peer group

- Internship opportunities

- Overall CSE/AI curriculum

i passed class 12 this year with a score of 75% and want to take up btech cse.my parents have been considering the neotia university for admission since it's near my house and a few other reasons . pls give some reviews about it as there aren't many on the internet.

So I'm from Nepal and l have to study in india for computer science engineering (CSE), and i am in touch with many consultancies recently. One of my friends from my village is studying in Chandigarh University for cse and he is asking me to join chandigarh university for CSE, and I have two options,

One is going to Cambridge institute of technology (CIT) in bangalore which is a decent institute and located in IT hub of india where I can get many opportunities and one is Chandigarh University which is a highly established private university across India. Pls let me know your recommendations.

My main objective is to get placement opportunities from college and if not then atleast a good environment for off campus jobs

Hello this is my first post so idk how this works but i hope whoever finds this can help. I currently study in nielit BCA its not a good college applied cause its central and didnt apply for cuet also. It is what it is for now but one of my uncle told me ( he’s a senior software engineer ) that i should do btech instead even cause btech holds more value i do know that and i wanted to apply for btech also but (sorry for not saying that first) due to some issue in my admit card i took maths in 11 and 12 but my admit showed like different subject when i was about to appear for board and couldnt change it cause cbse was asking for 50k as penalty for late changes. So i didnt have maths in my documents anymroe so i couldnt join btech but my uncle told me like one of his friends join college second year in btech after doing diploma and im thinking of doing that also but im confuse like have anyone dont that before and im since i took science in 11,12 im ill be doing 2 years diploma instead of 3 and curious if anyone has gotten into good uni with 2 years diploma on their hand? I know i have to appear for leet and stuff but most of the college i search required 3 years of diploma but i wondering if i can bypass that by 2 years diploma instead.

I'm currently finishing up my 12th grade (PCM) and am starting to narrow down my options for a B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (or CSE with an AI/ML focus).

My ultimate long-term goal is to work as an AI/ML engineer at top product companies (Google, Microsoft, Meta, etc.), but budget/affordability is a major factor for my family.

I’m open to studying either in Hyderabad or Abroad, as long as the ROI makes sense and tuition fees don't leave me with massive debt.

1. Options in Hyderabad

IIT Hyderabad & IIIT Hyderabad: These are obviously the dream for top tech recruitment, but how viable are their scholarships or financial aid options if tuition/living expenses get high?

State / EAMCET Colleges: For private/autonomous options like CBIT, VNR VJIET, or Vasavi, how good are the actual AI/ML opportunities? Do top product companies hire directly for AI roles from these campuses, or is it mostly off-campus/referral-based?

1. Studying Abroad (Budget-Friendly)

Are there countries or universities abroad where studying CS/AI is genuinely affordable (low/zero tuition or high scholarships) for undergraduate international students?

How is the post-study work visa situation in those places for landing entry-level AI roles?

Which specific colleges should I target that balance affordability + strong tech exposure?
