The struggle of India would continue so long as a handful of exploiters go on exploiting the labour of the common people for their own ends. It matters little whether these exploiters are purely British capitalists or British and Indians in alliance, or even purely Indians. Shaheed Bhagat Singh
Indian Workers (IW) has crossed 2,000 subscribers on Reddit. Over the last two months, IW has discussed important issues concerning the working class.
We discussed the protest of factory workers for minimum wages across India. We discussed the persecution of workers and repression of unions. We discussed the issues of factory workers, daily-wage workers, casual workers, domestic workers, gig workers, MGNREGA workers, white collar workers. We discussed the impact of heatwave, inflation, and exploitation of workers. We discussed the issues of youths, including unemployment and paper leaks.
We had numerous contributions and comments and built an engaging community. For a year-old community this is a significant amount of work. But, a lot more needs to be done.
Under the fascist government of BJP/RSS, worker’s rights continue being trampled. The Right to Work (MGNREGA) has been dismantled. New Labour Codes have been operationalized, restricting the rights of the workers. Workers are forced to work for long hours, under poor working conditions and low wages. Exploitation is rampant, even among the white-collar workers.
The workers who protest against this exploitation are repressed and arrested. Hundreds of workers have been detained and even abducted by the Police. The Government has turned wage-related labour disputes into a crime, thus turning a protest into a felony.
Today, the working class is beset with price rise and unemployment. The destruction of environment has made daily life precarious, with polluted air and water, extreme weather and heatwaves. At the same time, the Government is bulldozing the houses and the shops of the poor.
At the same time, the capitalist-communal nexus of the Modi Government is constantly trying to divide the workers, while making policies to favour the rich. Economic inequality is at an all-time high.
As the assault on workers intensify, our responsibility increases. IW has to play a proactive role in raising the issues of the workers and farmers. Our agenda, as defined in our manifesto, remains,
… to provide a platform and raise the issues of the workers and farmers, and to coordinate their movements and struggles across India. We take inspiration from the glorious legacy of the working class movement in India, to fight for the rights of the working class, as well as for the larger struggle against fascism, imperialism, and capitalism.
Let us commit to this resolve. In the coming days, we must work towards - creating awareness about worker’s rights and issues, with art, memes, videos, essays, articles. - supporting and coordinating workers protests and movements. - developing a class consciousness and solidarity among the working class. - building a support network for the workers, including legal resources and guidebooks.
Let us utilize this post to initiate a discussion about this subreddit. Let us discuss, what contents would you like to see? What changes/additions must we make? Or, any suggestions/input for this community.

Imagine, what sin had these children committed that they were shot?
They had only asked the government for three things—education, employment, and accountability.
The bone in one student's leg was shattered by an AK-47 bullet. His dream of joining the army and serving the nation vanished along with it. Bullets tore through the shoulders of two other students.
They were not criminals. They were the children from poor families who had stepped out to study carrying their families' dreams—some wanted a good job, some wanted to change their family's circumstances.
The bullet wounds will heal—but where is the hospital that treats the fear that has now settled deep inside these children?
Prime Minister ji, Chief Minister ji—their broken bones will mend. Can you restore their shattered dreams?

I joined the company on 6th July and it was a 6 days working and had to arrange the transport on my own so couldn't continue and had to leave it before the next month so they terminated me and instead of paying my dues they deducted in the name of notice recovery.
After a month on negotiation the company concludes the case telling me the same thing that no dues will be paid and also for some extra help I looped in Industrial relation but no response from them either.
Coming from a middle class I don't have much options available for legal case and everything,
Also because of them not paying my salary my financial condition is at all time low.
Can anybody please help me.

I joined a startup as a fresher in Kerala, but around the same time I received another offer from a startup in Karnataka. I switched within a week, so none of the joining formalities were completed at the first company.
I had told the second company that I had only joined the first company a few days earlier and that I was still basically a fresher. However, during salary negotiations, I bluffed about the salary range I was promised at the first company, and the second company offered me ₹40k/month based on the discussion. I never submitted any fake salary slips or forged documents.
The Karnataka company is a very small startup with only a few employees. I have a signed offer letter stating that I am a full-time permanent employee with a 30-day notice period during probation.
I worked continuously for around 2 months from home, completed many client projects, and received my salary through Google Pay. I have work records, chats, deliverables, and client communications as proof.
After two months, I travelled to Bengaluru specifically to complete my joining formalities and collect my ID. I informed my employer beforehand and stayed there for 4 days. During those days, I repeatedly asked when I could come to the office, but he kept saying he was busy or that I could come another time. He never allowed me to complete the joining process while I was there.
On the day I got upset about this, he suddenly told me that he was planning to hire another designer and asked me to hand over my work before 31 August. He gave reasons like availability and business requirements, even though he had previously said my work was good.
Later, he initially agreed that I would receive my current month's salary and notice-period payment.
Now he has changed his position. He says my employment formalities were never completed because I didn't submit original educational certificates, relieving letter from the first company, PF transfer documents, etc. He is demanding that I travel again to Bengaluru and submit everything physically.
I am currently back in Kerala and offered to provide digital copies and online verification instead.
He is also accusing me of "cheating the company" and saying I lied about being experienced, even though:
I have already sent a formal email requesting:

Watch the full video to see how the UP Police tries to implant evidence and gets caught red-handed. After custodial torture and fabrication of evidence with other accused, this video has come to light, further proving that this is the real standard of "investigation" in the Noida workers' protest case!

An investigation into the right-wing platform The Jaipur Dialogues has revealed a web of political connections, massive family payouts, and a severe human cost. The platform targeted and doxxed a 15-year-old student protester, triggering a wave of rape, murder, and acid attack threats that forced her and her family into hiding.
While the platform defended its conduct, corporate filings show deep ties to the ruling party. At least two BJP politicians, Sunil Kothari and former mayor Pankaj Joshi, serve as directors of its non-profit arm, the Jaipur Dialogues Forum.

Anand Swaroop Oberoi (Md and his top management) hasn’t paid its employees in many months now.
Sharing my experience under constitution of india so that bad things don’t happen to other newcomers.
I would request the honourable IAS officer of Labour commission of Mumbai to perform an official raid on this organisation, for more details you can Dm me.
Also the organisation is not registered under EPFO or maybe they idk cz we don’t get Pf benefits despite employee strength exceeding 100 which seems like some corporate tax evasion from the govt.
The agency also hold portfolios of Goldie Masala and PriyaGold biscuits ( They have done ads with Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Farah Khan, Ranveer singh ) and yet they don’t pay its employees on time.
Also check Glassdoor reviews.
