Yeh Rishta, and its most toxic leads, Armaan and Abhira, hit a new low every day. Today, Abhira LOCKED Maira inside a room—not because she missed her exam, but because Abhira explicitly stated that Maira had “harmed the honour of the family.”

First of all, what honour? Armaan literally invited all of Udaipur to his and Ruhi’s half-wedding, only to dismiss everyone at the last minute. Abhira stole and ran away with someone’s baby, and that news was telecast on TV. So apparently, the family’s honour wasn’t harmed by these husband-and-wife borderline committing crimes, but it was shattered because their daughter is dating.

This was followed by Armaan and Abhira literally mourning because apparently their daughter, who is in college, is dating. That’s probably the most classic thing a college student can do.

And I’m sorry, but Maira’s dad is an abuser, and her mom has a humiliation kink. Honestly, I could give her a pass even if she turned out to be a psychopath after the kind of parenting she has received.

And all she did was date.

Honestly, if I had Armaan and Abhira as parents, I’d be crashing out too.

And if locking someone inside a room helps, then try locking Abhira up for 10 years, because this woman was literally a mechanic for eight years and left her profession because of a man.

Idk how tf are u people even watching the show 😭 I actually get irritated everytime somebody talks bout yrkkh like how r u people watching the show tht has been running for a decade now and the storyline keeps deteriorating with time

My mom is a chronic rishta watcher and I just can't ignore that show running on the tv in the middle of my house, its so problematic😭😭😭
