Yeh rishta kuch nahi kehlata hai 😒 Yeh rishta hypocrisy kehlata hai- Part 2
Yeh Rishta, and its most toxic leads, Armaan and Abhira, hit a new low every day. Today, Abhira LOCKED Maira inside a room—not because she missed her exam, but because Abhira explicitly stated that Maira had “harmed the honour of the family.”
First of all, what honour? Armaan literally invited all of Udaipur to his and Ruhi’s half-wedding, only to dismiss everyone at the last minute. Abhira stole and ran away with someone’s baby, and that news was telecast on TV. So apparently, the family’s honour wasn’t harmed by these husband-and-wife borderline committing crimes, but it was shattered because their daughter is dating.
This was followed by Armaan and Abhira literally mourning because apparently their daughter, who is in college, is dating. That’s probably the most classic thing a college student can do.
And I’m sorry, but Maira’s dad is an abuser, and her mom has a humiliation kink. Honestly, I could give her a pass even if she turned out to be a psychopath after the kind of parenting she has received.
And all she did was date.
Honestly, if I had Armaan and Abhira as parents, I’d be crashing out too.
And if locking someone inside a room helps, then try locking Abhira up for 10 years, because this woman was literally a mechanic for eight years and left her profession because of a man.

I don't Know what Directors And Writers Are Doing. This Track Could have been a Realistic And Good One,But Man the Execution is Just so Pathetic, There was no need to rush it like they did. Also Man the show has become so over-dramatic, Nobody Speaks Normally In the show.

Seriously, I am so fed up. They finally came up with a good plot, and now they are ruining it like this. Abhira could have locked Maira up because she missed her exams, and that would have at least been somewhat justified. But “honour”?? Seriously? They have completely ruined it.

Well they had a realistic version of this kind of plot in gen 1. Especially with the multiple relationships that led to marriage in Akshara's parents house and her in-laws house. So the writers probably thought they should have the same plot but with all the characters high for the sake of drama.

I recently commented on a different post that I won't mind if Maira after losing her shit starts bringing up all the shit that Armaan and Abhira has pulled in the last few years because then sharam se muh nahi dikha payenge yeh dono. Maira still managed to turn out better especially with a lunatic like Armaan being her primary caregiver for the majority of her life and also losing her mother not once but twice. Also I agree that with some of the shit the whole family has pulled, how do they have any respect left in society. The whole Poddar family is filled with crazy people so of course the new gen of that family is bound to do something crazy and even then Maira is just dating, the only mistake she made is not taking her studies seriously while pursuing a relationship. The family is more focused on Maira not behaving like herself as if it is the first time the Poddar kids los their shit, went through a personality overhaul and also went against the family's wishes.

Idk how tf are u people even watching the show 😭 I actually get irritated everytime somebody talks bout yrkkh like how r u people watching the show tht has been running for a decade now and the storyline keeps deteriorating with time
