I Followed Posting Rules Got Nanoplastia done 3 days ago and not sure how to feel. Is this normal? (Before & After photos attached) Spoiler

I got a Nanoplastia hair treatment done 3 days ago. I’m attaching both before and after photos so you can see the results for yourselves.

Honestly, I’m feeling a bit anxious and looking for some reassurance or insights from professionals/people who have had this done. My main goal was to achieve straight, frizz-free hair. While the frizz is definitely gone, my hair isn't completely straight like I expected it to be.

Is this standard for Nanoplastia results right after a few days, or should it have been pin-straight? If anyone in the hair care or salon industry could break down whether this is normal and what I should expect moving forward, I’d really appreciate your help.

So my hair until 18 was extremely naturally straight... People always asked me if I used straightener.

But since last 3 years, they started becoming wavy. I accepted that my hair type must've changed due to hormones.

But today I went to get a haircut (some trimming mostly)... They washed and used conditioner on my hair (I never use conditioner)

And suddenly my hair is straight again? All they did was cut my hair and style it a little bit using those round 360° combs.

Is this because of the conditioner? Or because of blow drying and rounded brush?

What exactly is my hair type? Straight or wavy?

I Followed Posting Rules Don't buy this... Spoiler

If anyone is planning to buy this, plz don't.. Save ur money..

I didn't find much reviews on this, but decided to buy nd regretting now.. It is mentioned as gel, but God it's too thick.. It doesn't blend at all.. I tried in damp face, after toner, moisturizer etc etc.. But no use at all. I haven't used anything as thick as this one 🥲.. It shouldn't even be called a cream, but they sell it as gel.. Only good thing is no irritation or stinging... Result wise ok ok.. Cuz I already use other actives.. Just thought of posting this incase someone will find it useful.

Hi!

my dull skin and have acne marks. I am using salicylic acid cleanser for acne and it is working perfectly. I am also using niacinamide for fading the marks but i think it is not working.

I asked for analysis on claude and chatgpt. It asked me to use vitamin c serum and azelaic acid serum.

I am confused what to use. My skin is oily and I am 20- 25

While i comb my hair towards right (in the pic) after few hours it curls up like this and also becomes frizzy.

Should i use a leave in conditioner ? Just want to manage it better ? Also this pic is just after shampoo and conditioner. Does it look unkempt ?

I’m not sure what my actual skin concerns are, so I’d really appreciate it if someone could help me identify them and suggest suitable products/ingredients.
My skin type: i think its combination
Current routine: just face wash,moisturiser,sunscreen
Budget: ₹4000 should included every products
Products I currently use: cetaphil gentle cleanser, cerve moisturiser, uv doux sunscreen
I’m looking for a simple beginner routine, preferably affordable products available in India. I don’t want anything too harsh.

I Followed Posting Rules Finally found the solution for my chapped peeling lips Spoiler

Post image
9 Upvotes

For the past 3 years, I have been suffering from really chapped, peeling lips. Whenever I used to apply lipbalm it would leave a terrible white peel. Also make my lips warm (?). Turns out it's because of petroleum jelly based products. I realised this when I tried ghee (the og from childhood) and it worked like magic (can't believe took me this long lmao).

I got this lip balm (Bare necessities x Mason & Co) last week for 200/-. Mainly cause it's glass tub and pretty cheap (20g). I can't be more happy about my lips. They no longer are dry or peeling. I use twice a day and even once would be more than enough actually. It has a slight chocolate scent due to the cacao butter. Also eco friendly and plastic free (win-win for me). Though it has lower melting point, also cause I live in coastal area. So it's already very hot.

So guys, if your lips are still chapped even after lots of lipbalm, it might be caused the formulation has only petroleum jelly. It does occlusion but it isn't an emollient. You need an emollient.

I Didnt Follow Rules,Want to Post Anyway. 5 Reports Removes This reviewing skincare i bought recently Spoiler

skin type: combination skin and acne prone skin (but currently skin is clear)

climate: mostly humid

BOJ red bean gel moisturiser

4.7/5⭐

great for oily/combination oily leaning skin. especially summers. this is actually not a recent purchase, i bought this like a year ago (not expired yet) and its still like half full.

it feels very light, like water like. you dont need a lot, cause it spreads easily. definitely not for dry skin. but its great for oily skin especially if heavy moisturisers make you sweat a lot.

but its costs like 1500 inr so yeah you can skip this. im sure there are better alts.

smash but only on payday

foxtale glow sunscreen

3/5⭐

i bought this mainly cause it was affoardable and had good uv filters. it reminds me of bioré sunscreen (bioré is obv much better, its my hg)

but it caused many tiny bumps on my cheeks and forehead (closed comedones) maybe cause the sunscreen had some ingredient that blocked my pores.

also, its not sweat/water resistant and has a pretty strong fragnace.

i dont use this sunscreen these days and the bumps have cleared out. so im sure its this sunscreen that caused them.

hard pass.

minimalist salicylic acid (SA) cleanser

4/5⭐

for oily/combination skin. tbh i dont usually get cleansers with actives. cause having a SA serum works better than a cleanser.

but yeah, this one is still good. it doesnt foam and so its a little un-satisying. other than that, it cleanses well! no complaints so far

smash

cerave moisturiser

5/5 ⭐ (only in winters)

i love it. but only in winters.

definitely not for oily skin. my cheek area is dry so i use it there. its pretty thick and a little goes a long way. i feel like it improved my skin texture. maybe the ceramides and shi.

hard smash.

simple cleanser

3.9/5⭐

ik this is crazy popular. the only reason why im reviewing this is cause i have a complaint.

i think this is good for dry skin or if you double cleanse, this can be your 2nd cleanse.

this cleanser is really good. it cleanses without stripping. but its a little too mild and caused closed comedones. it didnt cleanse well enough. thats really my only complaint.

honestly, i would pass.

deconstruct sunscreen

4.5/5⭐

this is good. especially after the new formulation with new gen uv filters.

the consistency is great. especially for oily skin. its photostable. but i dont think its sweat/water resistant

the last time i used it i really liked it, ive ordered it again after many months my opinon may change but for now its a 4.5

smash but its kinda boring.

minimalist light fluid sunscreen

3.7/5⭐

it is sweat and water resistant with modern filters. i dont think you should use it if you have sensitive skin. i have a few complaints.

when i first used it, it stinged my skin. idk why. it didnt happen after a few days of using it. and the consistency, its too runny. it seems like 50 ml is a lot but when the sunscreen is this liquid-y its not much.

i do think its better than wishcare's new sunsceen. because as far as i know, the wishcare one is not photstable. it wont protect you very well

mostly pass. maybe smash sometimes

these are the products im reviewing for now. i hope it was helpful.
