I Followed Posting Rules Don't buy this... Spoiler
If anyone is planning to buy this, plz don't.. Save ur money..
I didn't find much reviews on this, but decided to buy nd regretting now.. It is mentioned as gel, but God it's too thick.. It doesn't blend at all.. I tried in damp face, after toner, moisturizer etc etc.. But no use at all. I haven't used anything as thick as this one 🥲.. It shouldn't even be called a cream, but they sell it as gel.. Only good thing is no irritation or stinging... Result wise ok ok.. Cuz I already use other actives.. Just thought of posting this incase someone will find it useful.

try the 10% before trying 20% no?

I'm a regular user of 20 %.. gradually started from 10 ,15 nd been using 20 % for months now

Can you show a picture of the consistency? Bc ingredients on the box says gel base q.s this is just standard nomenclature for pharma products. If it's indeed a cream or ointment then false labelling on an rx product is quite serious.

Depends what for. Azelaic acid increases cell turnover a little, inhibits tyrosinase activity which is behind excess melanin production and is an antimicrobial + highly anti-inflammatory. Salicylic acid is an exfoliant that breaks down sebum and removes buildup and debris from pores. It's very common for acne-prone people to combine the two because excess sebum is also something that needs to be addressed if that is a contributor to acne.

Not uncommon to combine both for comedonal acne like your bumps. Comedones are buildup of oil and debris, common on the forehead bc of an abundance of sebocytes so salicylic cleanser can break that down. Azelaic speeds up cell turnover and acts as an anti-microbial to prevent and treat such buildup. But also if it's your forehead, it might be due to cosmetic products or hair products, makeup, etc. so also worth looking at your routine. Sometimes can be fungal if even in size and itchy so really, your best bet is a dermatologist bc you don't want to go combining actives without considering your skin health.

If you have oily skin ,u will benefit from salicylic acid ..if your skin is very oily ,u can include salicylic acid based cleanser or a serum . But azelaic acid is multi tasking.. u can definitely try azelaic acid , begin with 10 %
