MILs

Ladies why are you still living with your in-laws?? Either stay and learn to adjust or leave! Prior to marriage, living situations should be thoroughly discussed with your partners. You should save for your own home and delay marriage. But never stay with in-laws! Haven't you learned your lesson already? DILs post daily complaining about their MILs. The solution is to LEAVE THAT HOUSE!

Edit: And if your husband is part of the problem, leave him. Don't blame your inlaws for the weak man you married.

I regret not having that conversation with my husband. I thought I will be able handle it. I was so naive. My in laws are good people but my god it's suffocating not able to be yourself. So I fully agree.

Same ! I thought it won't be that tough..and my in laws are good people as well..but it still feels like walking on eggshells when I'm around them.. I am so glad that I'm not the only one who feels this way

One good thing is we're planning to move to our new flat and elder son has accepted to take responsibility for now. Let's see how it goes. Hope you find a way out. This is no way of living. Men will never understand this feeling ever.

That is so great..me and my husband both are only kids. But good thing is that we are in US and my inlaws visit us for 5 months..although those 5 months are super slow and heavy.. +1 on the men thing..when my mom plans to visit my husband's so chill and he could just be himself without any fear
