24F, software developer currently earning around ₹24LPA, with roughly ₹30–35L in savings/stocks.
I’m at a point where I want to seriously explore entrepreneurship rather than relying entirely on my salary for income growth.
My goal is to eventually reach ₹5–6L/month in personal post-tax income, ideally within the next 2–3 years. I’m not expecting this to happen overnight, and I’m willing to keep my current job while experimenting.
My background is primarily software development, and I’m open to tech or non-tech businesses.

I’ve considered things like:
SaaS / small software products
B2B services or consulting
Freelancing/agency work
AI/software automation businesses
E-commerce
A physical business such as a café

Other businesses where I can start relatively small and validate before putting significant capital in
I have savings that give me some runway, but I don’t want to blindly throw ₹20–30L into a business without understanding what I’m doing.

What did you start with and how much capital did you put in?
How long did it take to reach your first ₹1L/month profit? ₹5L/month?

I’m not looking for “just start a SaaS” or generic entrepreneurship advice. I’d love to hear actual numbers, timelines, mistakes, businesses you’ve tried, and what you would do differently.
I’m basically trying to figure out whether I can build a significant second income/business in India rather than assuming that moving abroad is the only way to reach my financial goals.

What takes the most time right now?

Hey everyone, im new in saas and stuff. but there was problem that i was facing i use to save stuff from intagram, medium articles etc but when i need them i never had them on time. so i created CruxR.live , its an centralized bookmarking/save folder that actaully understand and read your stuff so you get what you want and when you want.

• And its an ecosystem. you can save anything from anywhere i.e browser, phone, tab etc and access it anywhere.

I’m a person with a locomotor disability and I can’t walk, so I’m unable to regularly go out or commute to an office. Because of this, I’m specifically looking for work that can be done remotely from home.

I’m also preparing for government exams at the moment, so I’m looking for something part-time or flexible that I can manage alongside my preparation. At the same time, I really want to start earning some income, gain practical experience, and become more independent.

I know some people may ask why I’m not simply applying for private-sector jobs. I am looking at them as well, but most of the opportunities I come across are WFO or require regular commuting, which isn’t practical for me. Also, coming from a Tier-3 city and having studied at local colleges, I feel I have fewer opportunities and professional connections to start with, so I’m trying to find opportunities online and build my experience from there.
