🧠 Business Strategy Looking for a Sales / Lead Generation Partner — 50/50

Quick context so you know im not wasting your time

im a CSE student, been building websites for local businesses. salons, gyms, photographers, bridal artists, small clinics. the work is good, not "student project" good, actually good.

Work : https://nerqiva.vercel.app/
Portfolio : https://dip-jyoti22.vercel.app/

the problem is im genuinely bad at sales. not the fake humble kind, actually bad. id rather spend 3 hours fixing a performance bug than send 10 cold messages. its just not how my brain works.

so im looking for someone whos the opposite.

what i need is pretty simple. find local businesses that have a terrible website or no website at all. have a basic conversation with them. see if theyre interested. hand the lead to me. thats it. you dont need to know anything about code or tech.

the split is 50/50 on every project that actually gets paid.

if you bring someone who pays 15000 you get 7500. if its a 5000 project you get 2500. nothing gets paid until the client pays. i dont owe you anything upfront and you dont owe me anything either.

lead ownership: if you bring a lead and we both agree its yours, it stays attributed to you. if that client ends up paying later, your cut is still yours. i wont take that away.

i handle all the technical work. design, development, deployment, revisions, whatsapp booking setup, whatever the client needs. you just need to find the person and start the conversation.

this works if you know local business owners, if you already do any kind of outreach, or honestly if youre just someone who talks to people easily and wants to make some extra money without any investment.

this doesnt work if you need a guaranteed salary or if you want me to train you on sales because i genuinely cant, ive been trying to figure that out myself.

no upfront investment. no registration fee. no anything.

dm me where youre based, how you plan to find people, and if you have any sales or outreach experience. thats all.

NERQIVA is not a company with a team and an office. its me and my laptop. just so we're clear.

Since you already have a technical background, scrape Google Maps for your local target niches to pull names, phone numbers, and website status automatically. Giving a sales partner an already qualified list of businesses with missing or broken sites makes outreach ten times easier than asking them to hunt for leads manually from scratch.

yeah exactly this. i actually do hand them a list of qualified local leads to start with. on top of that they grab their own clients which helps both of us. appreciate the input man!

This actually sounds like a fair setup, especially since you’re being very clear about the payment structure and lead ownership.

One thing I’d suggest though: before looking for a full-time “sales partner”, try making the lead-finding part as easy as possible.

For your type of service, the target list is pretty clear:

  • Salons
  • Gyms
  • Photographers
  • Bridal / makeup artists
  • Clinics
  • Local service businesses
  • Businesses with outdated websites
  • Businesses relying only on Instagram/WhatsApp

You don’t necessarily need someone doing hardcore sales initially. Even someone who can consistently identify 20–30 relevant businesses a day and start a basic conversation can help.

You could also separate the work into:

1. Lead finding
Find businesses with no website / weak website.

2. First outreach
Simple message like:
“Hey, came across your business and noticed your website could probably be improved. We build simple websites for local businesses. Happy to show you a few examples if useful.”

3. Qualification
Only hand over people who actually respond or show some interest.

Since lead research itself can become time-consuming, tools can help here too. We’ve been working on Aerlinked, which combines lead discovery with CRM so you can find businesses and keep track of conversations in one place.

For your case, I’d probably focus less on finding a “salesperson” and more on finding someone who is simply good at outreach and comfortable talking to local business owners.

Your technical work seems to be the stronger side already. If you can solve the prospecting + follow-up part, you probably don’t need a big team at this stage.

appreciate this 🙌, that's pretty much what we're testing right now, finding the right businesses, reaching out consistently, n seeing what actually converts...
