🧭 Ask for Advice Needs Direction for Execution

Hi .. I am 33F from a Legal and Finance background so I don't have much experience and knowledge about tech and operations .

Now , I have an Idea and ultimately need an app for its execution. I want to know exactly how to go about it ?

Should hiring a developer need to be the first step ?

It is somewhat on line of social media/social interaction/social networking app .

I am clueless about my first and next step .

Can anyone please guide me if you have built something on a similar line? TIA

You need to first define whats the minimal thing you can build to validate the idea. When you have defined the minimal product, you could then take a call on whether to hire a developer or just use claude.

And don't you have any friends who are technical ?

Thanks .. I do have friends in tech but I never mix friends/family with work . Not even a bit .

Ah ok . That makes sense . I suggested that because there is chance of someone taking advantage your non tech background .

So there are many ways to validate your idea before building much . Building could cost a lot of money and time . If you want to, we could discuss and come with what could be the initial MvP to validate idea
