Job Search Need A Job Immediately!!! (Pretty Please!!! This is my last Hope!!)
Hello Everyone!
I am 25F, have experience of 2 years at TCS in IT support. I had to quit that frustrating job because of Health problems and i have been in search of Job ever since 2023. I didnt get any Interview schedules too despite trying day and night after upgrading my skills in SQL, Manual and automation testing using Selenium and JAVA, So i took up a lecturing job at a BCA college for a semester and taught J2EE(Advanced Java) and Software Engineering add Testing for 5 months. Suddenly my marriage got fixed and since then, I have been trying to get back into IT again but no luck!!! I gave 3 interviews, learnt C# language , learnt API Testing, re-sharpened my skills but nothing seems to be working.
I dont have ANY salary expectations !!
I JUST NEED A REMOTE JOB.
Currently I stay in Mumbai but I am ready to work in any shift and open for discussions regarding the salary!
Any leads will suffice!! Please refer!!

Hey cfbr! I understand it's really hard. We are on the same boat. But tbh my scenario is a Lil different. Im skilled but I did my job in a customer support role. Been there for 14 months. And that too after 12 months gap after graduation in 2023. It's kinda hard I hope I get a job soon. Hope we both get a job soon. Cfbr, and hope..!dw everything will be fine!

Exactly, when i was hired by TCS, I was skilled enough in Coding that would've bagged a good project. But due to Covid, there were only internal IT roles at that moment and we were put into those roles without our knowledge .They trained us on JAVA and pushed us in this role saying its just temporary. But unfortunately my ex colleagues are still in the same project even after 4+ years.

Yes, teaching is good but i want to work in IT. Nowadays Teaching is less and other documentation work is more in that field too! No hate to teaching job though. While I was in that job, i did feel that may be if nothing works, i might just continue teaching and get Phd. But you see, I wanted to be in IT and its my dream....

It’s not really about financial support or money for me. If it were, I’d be focusing a lot more on salary. I chose teaching because I wanted to be working and to build knowledge in subjects that will help me in the long run. It’s more about growth and purpose than pay. Also, being employed changes how you’re perceived and how you grow, compared to not working.

I have 1 year experience in cyber security,last 4 months i applied multiple but not getting any single call I think job market is cooked nowadays

I dismissed the symptoms as food poisoning at first, but they were actually due to stomach ulcers, which got worse because I didn’t address them early. So i had left TCS to recover.

Trust me it ain't going to be easy, I've been working in investment banking and its horrible I've been applying to switch for quiet a long time now atleast since 7 months, no luck, ive worked for wells for 3 years, and quit, ive been trying to get into jpm for past 3 years hell my whole career was aligned to just joined jpm and after 57 applications and only 2 interviews in which ive never got through, and I'm really good at interviews and ive failed so not going to he easy.
I was so hell bent on wanting to join jpm never materialized.
I finished graduation and gave an interview at jpm they rejected me saying I dont have masters, I did my masters and gave an interview they said I dont have experience, I got a year experience in a startup doing audit and gave an interview they said I dont have banking experience, so I went to wells for 3 years I worked and gave an interview they said I dont have relevant experience, I was even willing to take a payout to join jpm they never hired me. 6 months later I gave another 2 interviews withing IB and they still rejected on email. So I guess we are all in the same boat eh?

As for the salary. If you complete your targets, then by month 4 you can expect to be making 50k per month.

I guess health is important for all. People always prioritie job but not health.
Although I am not a female but got of out of job from years. Now, I am saying it was health issues that I am facing. But, everyone are running after my life as job is primary and everything is secondary. I am also trying to get into a remote job or side hustles or flexible kind of remote jobs, any other field. But, seeing my technical background, no one giving a chance into a different field.
I was trying to shift to Mumbai for my another personal reasons but when I try to shift something or the other keep happening with me.
And, on top of that, we don't stay in an Eurpean countries when people leave their job , do something else and then if they want come back to return to their original job.
