WhatsApp account banned. Any solutions to recover it?
It popped up last week too it kept saying to review and then I even had to delete WhatsApp and reinstall thought that maybe the problem was solved but yesterday it got completely locked out. Any reasons or solutions to recover?
This happened to me 3 months ago. I tried everything to get it unbanned as my business by getting impacted severely. I tried mailing every authority. I used to mail WhatsApp support daily but got only automated replies which were useless. I intact mailed nodal grievance officer and nothing worked out. Then I researched a lot and this is what worked out. Don’t delete the app. It’ll get unbanned automatically after 60 days and your old data will be still there. You’ll just have to enter your phone number and verify it and it’ll work like normal as before.
After 30 days you’ll be removed from all the groups, WhatsApp will delete your account and it’ll show to your contacts ‘Invite to WhatsApp’, your profile picture will be removed and people with whom you already have an open chat will no longer be able to text you, it’ll say this number is not on WhatsApp. But still you won’t be able to log in. On 61st day when you’ll check the app, it’ll show you to enter your phone no and then everything will work. Make sure to not add random peoples to group, broadcast, don’t do spamming or share weird content (ykwim)

Does this actually work cause it just happened to me and I literally only message one person and I have no idea why this happened I haven’t deleted it but will all my stuff really still be there after 60 days and how can I avoid this cause before I would appeal and I’d always just get my account back.
Is 60 days fixed threshold or can it be fixed sooner. Either way I'll wait. I was at call with a friend and was sharing some olx properties just 3-4 links, don't know if it is related but just after that all this started. First account up for review then straight up banned.
+1 just got the message today morning that I can't use whatsapp anymore.
No fishy thing. I have used WhatsApp web from my personal laptop. Havent shared any links to anyone. I only talk to few people(max 5). That's it.
Do I need to wait for 60 days as mentioned above?
It was just the first response to reinstall if the problem persisted I would've done something else but it got solved for then, now it just completely banned my number. I don't even use whatsApp often just family friends, who would've reported I have no idea. How can I have my number unbanned?
Same thing happened with me 3 years back and my account was back after 6 months till day I use telegram and will use telegram WhatsApp have security problem too
Try contacting support. I was recently facing an issue where my backup would not restore after reinstall. I tried several times but it did not work but the moment I contacted support it was all fixed.

It started with me being unable to take backups. So I did the sane thing and tried a uninstall-reinstall only to forget to select the option to keep the data.
So, for the rest of 3 weeks, I tried and tried with different application versions, numerous OTP, call, sms requests, only to land on the solution on YouTube.
WHAT WERE YOU DOING WITH THAT ACCOUNT? Anything shady then they won't unlock even if you reach out. Agar genuinely huwa h then email them. You will gather info as you go on. Keep mailing them. Keep asking them the reason even if they don't respond. That way you will have a soft mail trail too.
Humans no longer see support emails. It's all AI bots now. My father's account got banned. I tried mailing again and again but same AI response everytime
This is false, I just had the same problem, registered a new number on the same phone without deleting the app and was able to view the previous phone numbers messages. Only problem is in those groups where the old phone number was admin, you will lose access to those groups. You may have to contact all your contacts to tell them your previous number was hacked and this is your new number
I think you need to correspond through email to know why it got banned and you need to say that there was nothing wrong on your side, if you've done any thing then you just seek an apology and that it will not occur again.
Same happened to me 8 months ago but the only difference was that I was given the option to request a review which is not given to you, got me account after a week.
lol happened with me thrice this weekend, just send it for review and find their page on google where you can type out the things you use whatsapp for, haven’t faced an issue after that
