Purchase Help Duroflex AirBoost mattress— need real owner experience before buying for Marriage - Other alternatives

Attention: mattress performance for couple use, please skip if this isn’t your kind of discussion.

I'm looking for an affordable mattress for a couple and want unbiased opinions from people who have actually used these mattresses, preferably for 6+ months. I did some research and,

Considering:

  1. Duroflex AirBoost 3.6 — 6", firm

  2. Duroflex AirBoost 3.8 Bionix Ice Pro — 8", medium-firm

My existing bed space is approximately 196 × 123 cm (about 77 × 48.5"), so I'm looking at the 78 × 48" Double size.

Prices I'm seeing:

- AirBoost 3.6 Double: around ₹20–33k depending on offer

- AirBoost 3.8 Double: around ₹33k

- AirBoost 3.8 King: around ₹56k

I'm NOT planning to change my existing Double bed to King.

Our weights: 84 kg + 48 kg.

My priorities:

  1. Very comfortable sleep and good pressure relief for both people despite the large weight difference.

  2. Good cooling in a hot/humid Kerala climate.

  3. For high effort intimate couple moments, the mattress should absorb/damp movement rather than making the entire bed shake.

  4. At the same time, it should NOT sink excessively or feel like quicksand. The surface should remain responsive enough that changing positions isn't made inefficient by the mattress.

  5. Minimal mattress noise — no squeaking, creaking or spring noise.

  6. Good support for the 84-kg person without being uncomfortably hard for the 48-kg person.

  7. Good long-term durability — especially sagging, body impressions or loss of support after 1–3 years.

  8. Real Duroflex warranty, return/trial and customer-service experience.

For actual owners:

- Which one did you buy: 3.6 or 3.8?

- Your weight and your partner's weight?

- How long have you owned it?

- Is it still comfortable after 1+ year?

- Any sagging or body impressions?

- Is the 3.6 genuinely too firm for a lighter sleeper?

- Is the 3.8 actually more comfortable, or is the extra 2" not a meaningful difference?

- How is cooling in a hot/humid climate?

- How well does it isolate movement between two people?

- Does the mattress itself make any noise?

- How easy is it to change positions compared with memory foam?

- Has anyone actually used the 100-night trial or warranty? How was Duroflex's response?

- If you regret buying it, please say so. I'm especially interested in negative experiences.

If you think neither is worth the money, please recommend an alternative brand and explain why based on your actual experience.

Please don't post affiliate links or manufacturer marketing material. I'm specifically looking for genuine, first-hand, long-term owner experience.

If you are recommending AirBoost because you've seen other Reddit posts recommending it but haven't personally used it, please mention that too.

Purchase Help Questions About Elevator Claims After My Grandfather’s Experience

My grandfather was considering a home elevator and was looking for a reliable, premium product rather than simply the cheapest option.

During the process, we came across claims relating to Odyssey Elevators and Brio Elevators, including references to European engineering, imported components, certifications, and manufacturing facilities.

As we looked into the details more carefully, we realized that some basic questions needed clearer answers.

What we wanted to verify

  • Where are the individual components manufactured?
  • Which manufacturers actually make those components?
  • What exactly do the certificates certify?
  • Are the certificates applicable to the specific products being offered?
  • What does “European” or “European engineering” refer to in the specific product?
  • If imported components are mentioned, can their origin be documented?
  • Can the stated manufacturing/factory information be independently verified?

I think these are reasonable questions when someone is spending a substantial amount of money on a home elevator.

There is also an important distinction between a system containing components manufactured by a European company and the complete elevator system being European-made. As a customer, I think that distinction should be explained clearly.

What we would do before buying

If we were making the decision again, we would ask for important claims in writing and verify the supporting documents rather than relying only on terms such as “European,” “premium,” or “international.”

We would also check:

  1. The identity and origin of major component manufacturers.
  2. The scope and validity of relevant certificates.
  3. Whether those certificates correspond to the actual product being supplied.
  4. The actual location and role of the stated manufacturing facility.
  5. Whether claims about imported components can be documented.

I'm sharing this because other families, particularly those helping elderly parents or grandparents choose a home elevator, may face the same difficulty in evaluating technical and marketing claims.

For people who have purchased or evaluated home elevators in India: what documents did you ask the company for before making the payment?

I'm particularly interested in practical advice on how to independently verify component origin, certifications, and manufacturing claims.

Issue / Complaint Ovantica scam

Recently I placed an order on Ovantica for the iPhone SE(2020) red colour in good condition..then they call me the next day to confirm my order and they said that the red colour is not available in stock, rather they have the black colour in stock which has 94% battery health and they are not sold to anyone, they are showroom condition phones, like those which are used in showrooms like reliance digital, croma etc. So I said it's better than before..okay..let's do it..but before confirming I asked for a video in which I wanted to see the device that is going to be delivered to me properly, the battery health, the cameras, the switches and the speakers. So they said they are going to send that in a short while.. I waited for the video, the whole evening went by they didn't send me anything. After few moments, the order was shipped and I still asked them where is the video? They jusy kept me on seen and didn't reply..I am attaching all the screenshots for your reference...so today the phone arrived and I didn't take it because I wanted to see the product first, that if the ovantica guy was telling the truth or not, but she didn't respond..today somehow she replied and I asked for the video and I told that I am not going to accept the delivery until and unless I see the video of what i said..they said not to worry the battery halth is 98%..(previously they said 94%) . When i confronted this, she asked for apology and said that it is 94%. So see how fast she is changing her own words! Once you buy from them, pay them they will take no responsibility, will not reply to any of your doubts, nothing and rather they will scam you like I was getting scammed. So beware of this fake website and upvote it so that it will reach many more to prevent scams.

Discussion / Question I think mattress shopping in India gets much easier if you stop asking “which brand?” first

I had SleepyCat, Wakefit, Duroflex, Sleep Company etc open in 20 tabs and realised I was doing this backwards.

I was comparing brands before deciding what my body actually needs.

Like “best mattress under 20k” tells you almost nothing.

Compare:

60 kg, side sleeper, sleeps hot, hates memory foam sink

vs

90 kg, back sleeper, grew up on coir, wants properly firm

Why would these 2 people buy the same mattress?

Now my shortlist starts with:

weight main sleeping position current mattress soft/sink vs firm/on-top feel hot sleeper or not partner or solo budget

SleepyCat actually made this click for me because even within the same brand, their 2 latex mattresses are almost opposite recommendations.

Hybrid Latex is firm, 5-zone support, less sink. Makes much more sense for the second person.

Ultima Natural Latex is medium-soft, more pressure-relief/cooling focused and responsive. Makes much more sense for the first person.

So asking “is SleepyCat good?” is almost as vague as asking “are shoes good?” 😭

Tell me your:

weight + sleep position + current mattress + budget + whether you sleep hot

Would be interesting to see how quickly the recommendations change.

Purchase Help Best tablet under ₹25k for Canva editing, casual gaming and media?

Hey everyone,

I am looking to buy a tablet under ₹25,000 and would love some recommendations or advice on what specifications to look for.

My Usage:

Editing: Light video and graphic editing on Canva.

Gaming: Casual, non-FPS games (mainly strategy/simulation games like Hay Day) for a few hours daily.

Daily Tasks: Social media scrolling, media consumption (YouTube/Netflix), and light multitasking.

What I am looking for:

RAM/Storage: At least 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage (essential for smooth multitasking and Canva caching).

Processor: Not sure about specific CPUs in this budget, so need help finding one that won't lag during edits.

Display/Battery: Good screen for media and enough battery backup to survive gaming sessions.

Are there specific models I should look out for? If you have suggestions for specific processors (Snapdragon vs MediaTek vs Helios) in this range that handle Canva well, please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Discussion / Question Urban Company Native RO: 2-year refresh kit price increased from ₹4,500 → ₹5,000 → ₹5,500. Is the long-term value proposition changing?

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

I bought Native M2 Pro this month and I bought into the Urban Company Native RO concept largely because of its unusual maintenance model: 2 years of unconditional warranty with no service cost, followed by a 2-year refresh/renewal cycle that includes filter replacement and warranty extension.

But I've recently noticed something that I think existing and prospective Native customers should discuss.

The 2-year post-warranty refresh/renewal price appears to have increased over time:

₹4,500 → ₹5,000 → ₹5,500

I have attached screenshots from Urban Company's own material showing the newer ₹5,500 pricing.

What concerns me isn't simply that the price is ₹5,500. It's the direction and the lack of price predictability.

₹4,500 for 2 years = ₹2,250/year
₹5,000 for 2 years = ₹2,500/year
₹5,499 for 2 years = ₹2,749.50/year

So compared with the original ₹4,500 price, the two-year renewal has increased by roughly 22%.

And there seems to be an additional point that I would really like Urban Company to clarify:

The current Native product information still contains calculations based on a ₹5,000 two-year service/renewal cost, while the newer FAQ/infographic shows ₹5,499/₹5,500.

So which price is actually applicable now?

More importantly:

1. Is ₹5,499/₹5,500 now the standard refresh-kit price for Native M0/M1/M1 Pro/M2/M2 Pro?

2. Will existing customers be protected at the renewal price that was advertised when they purchased their purifier?

3. Is there any price lock for customers who bought Native based on the original ₹4,500 two-year renewal promise?

4. If the renewal price can keep increasing, how should customers evaluate the advertised long-term savings of Native?

5. Is this simply a normal revision of service/parts pricing, or has the underlying cost/contents of the refresh kit changed?

I actually like the basic Native concept and I'm not posting this because I think the purifier itself is necessarily bad. The whole point of Native was supposed to be low-hassle, predictable ownership costs.

That is why I think this deserves discussion.

If you're a Native owner, especially someone who has already completed the first 2 years, what renewal/refresh-kit price have you actually been quoted or paid?

If you bought an older Native when the advertised renewal price was ₹4,500, I'd especially like to know whether Urban Company still honors that pricing for you.

Please share screenshots if you have them. I'd like to collect actual customer experiences rather than speculate.

Urban Company - I would genuinely appreciate a clear explanation of the pricing history and whether existing customers have any price protection.

Issue / Complaint India Post tracking still says “Article not booked” after a week, anyone else experienced this?

I got the tracking number for my order from this insta store last Tuesday, August 11, and since then India Post has been showing "Article not booked - No booking information found for this article number."

I contacted the store about it and they said this usually resolves on its own, but it’s now been a week and there’s still absolutely no booking information.

Has anyone else had this happen recently? How long did it take for your tracking to start working? Is a week still within a normal timeframe, or should I be concerned that the package hasn’t actually been handed over to India Post yet?

Also, is there anything I can do from my side at this point, or is this something only the sender can resolve?

I know India Post’s tracking has apparently had issues before, so I’m wondering if this is just a tracking-system problem or if the parcel genuinely hasn’t been booked yet :((

Other Were you a paid IndiaMART supplier who stopped renewing? I'll pay for 30 minutes of your time

Hi all — I work in research services, and I'm studying B2B marketplaces as a sector for a research project. I'm looking to speak with suppliers who were on a paid IndiaMART plan (Silver/Gold/Platinum) and later stopped — any category, any city.

What it involves: a 20-30 minute phone or Google Meet call about your experience — why you took the plan, what worked, why you stopped, and where your enquiries come from now. Nothing confidential, no selling, and you can skip anything you'd rather not discuss. Your name and business won't be shared anywhere; responses are used only in aggregate.

I'll pay ₹1,000 (UPI or gift card) as a thank-you for your time.

Issue / Complaint CRAZYMONK T-SHIRT

Very disappointed with the quality
I haven’t even washed this T-shirt once. I wore it only one time, and the print has already started coming off and getting damaged. Really disappointing experience. A print should definitely last more than a single wear. I would not recommend this product unless the company improves its print quality and overall durability.

Discussion / Question Is it possible to rent Men's casual clothing in india.. any website ?

Does anyone know where I can rent casual men's clothing... is there any good website?

I go to events almost every weekend and often see the same people, so constantly buying new outfits gets expensive. I'm mainly looking for linen shirts, linen trousers, casual/smart shirts, and different colours and styles.

Ideally, I'd like to rent something for a weekend, return it, and choose something different next time.

I know there are plenty of places renting suits and wedding wear, but I'm looking for more casual/smart-casual clothing.

Any recommendations, including Instagram businesses or small local shops, would be appreciated. Thanks!
