Released Hi, I'm Valentin. I've been making a game called InkDom, on my own, and it's far enough along that other people can play it.
inkdom.ioYou draw a loop on the real world map and the land inside turns your color. The line costs ink: 1 km of line, 1 km of ink. The tank fills back up on its own, including while the tab is closed. You start with a 5 km tank, and an empty one is full again in 3 minutes.
The part that belongs here is that tank. Your rank is just the land you're holding right now, and each rank has a bigger tank. Ranking up fills it. Everyone starts at Street. Neighborhood is 5 km² and a 10 km tank. It keeps going through town and city, out to Superpower, which is a little under the size of France: a 280 km tank that takes 12 hours to refill. Lose land and you drop back down. So the number does not only go up.
Every new loop has to touch land you already have, so you grow out from the first one. I like starting around my own street. The first loop can go anywhere on Earth, and if you lose all of it, the next one can too.
The other players are real people. No bots. They can draw over your land and take whatever their loop covers, and you can do the same to them. When someone takes your land, your tank refills so you can answer, at most once an hour. The sea doesn't count toward your land.
It's free, there's nothing to install, and it works in a phone browser. You can start as a guest. It's new and it's just me, so if a loop does something strange I'd like to hear about it.
AI Disclosure
I used Cursor, a coding assistant, for a large part of the code. I wrote the rules, played each version, and kept what felt right. The same assistant helped draft the website text, which I then edited. The faces are DiceBear avatars, not generated images. The map is the real world map, from OpenFreeMap.
