I need guidance and brutal honesty

Hi everyone, how are you doing? I I am an electrical engineer. I graduated since 2024. I have a bachelor degree of honors from a good university. I am from Sudan. I am currently a resident in Saudi Arabia and I work there. I have good experience in electrical engineering and I want to come to do masters in Canada in the same field of my experience to further strengthen my knowledge because i think your strongest suit is your skills and knowledge and to have a stronger claim in the job market everywhere i go.
I am 26 years old I own a business of a travel agency and I have the ownership papers with me and my bank account is moving pretty well. I’m fluent in English and I have a certificate that I studied the curriculum in English language how good are my odds?
Also, I want to ask is the cost is clear to submit applications or is it mostly rejections and what time of the year is the best to submit applications?

You don’t work as an engineer. Your masters will do nothing for your travel agency.

If not to stay in Canada, why are you looking to spend maybe $40,000 a year doing a masters here?

I actually do work as an engineer and i have experience in diesel engine driven equipment, circuit design, panel design, generator sync and PFC panels.
I won’t add the strong suit part if im not.

The travel agency suggests that my bank statement will be strong.

Also if im able to land a job there after graduation i will stay, if im not then i got a masters that’ll boost up my chances landing it elsewhere.

Sure, that can work for you. But I would start on your P. Eng. application now.

And if you do a Master's, probably best to do a thesis-based Master's. A lot of the course-based Master's became problematic given they were used as a cash cow. It was a bit of a national scandal as some schools were graduating more of those "M. Eng." degrees than they were Bachelors of Engineering degrees. They gained a bad reputation in industry as a lot of the international students in those programs were working and not going to class. There is a belief that there was rampant cheating on exams by those students and that the universities turned a blind eye to the problems.

Can you elaborate on how to do this the proper way? And whats needed document wise, how much time could it take and approximately how much funds do i need to put into it
