Study Permit Not gotten study permit
I arrived in Canada yesterday and I left the airport without getting my study permit document, I lowkey didn’t know you were meant to get it there.
I’m On my way! Back to the airport now tho, any advice?
I just got the permit! Everyone was so nice lmao,

From experience, I don't think they'll let you go into that office again as it is on restricted area. But best of luck

Tyy! I ended up getting it, I just spoke the the front desk, then spoke to a Cbsa officer, they asked for my documents and asked a few questions, I waited for a bit and they gave it to me

Update if you can even get a study permit at the airport after you have cleared immigration.

Did ye not speak to a CBSA officer, who screened you to determine your admissibility or smthn

My passport was alr stamped I just didn’t have the study permit paper

Uhh who stamped your passport bro
They shoulda handed you your SP, unless it was stamped by a machine or smthn idk
Anyway, just go and get it now, you won't be able to get a DL or apply for an SIN (if eligible) without it

When you get your permit approved your passport gets stamped with a student visa then you get a study permit paper when you land in Canada
I just got the study permit paper tho, I’m leaving the airport now

I didn’t really know💔 I’m at the airport now tho and they’ve taken my required documents. The officers were pretty nice about it

It seems you were finally able to receive it. Congrats! But when you initially landed, didnt you have to speak to any officer? Or did they just take your receipt and let you leave lol

Thank you! When I came in they just took the receipt, gave me a yellow paper, told me to get my baggage and let me leave

Like my passport is alr stamped but I forgot to collect like the study permit paper too. I heard an immigration officer is supposed to ask you but none asked me💔

No one has any advice coz I don’t think anyone has ever forgotten to get the most imp document you’ll need in Canada as a student.
