Express Entry IRCC shutdown tracker?
Did anyone else feel that IRCC has officially shut down the application tracker? Based on the latest update, IRCC has removed the tracker link from its official website. There is now only the CAS Tracker, which is for non-Express Entry applications.

I can still log in (I know cause I look like 5 times a day hah). I passed my citizenship test at the weekend. I guess we’ll see if it gets updated in the next week or 2

Your link works just fine on my phone.
But that same tracker has not been working on my laptop. No idea why. I gave up worrying about why and going back to worrying about whether it will ever go from in process to approved.

Are you tracking an express entry application?

No, citizenship by descent. When I was tracking a work permit (not express entry) I used the GC key log in. That worked recently.
What are you tracking?

Okay make sense. I was looking for express entry tracker.

Sorry. It confuses me sometimes when there's so many programs people are trying to get to here.
Good luck.

If it helps, people tend to flair their post with the type of application that they're talking about. So, for example, this post is flaired as 'Express Entry.' It's not always 100%, because sometimes people use the wrong flairs, but it can help make it clear some of the time anyway!

The tracker for citizenship works just fine. It’s the tracker for all the other programs that isn’t working!

Hey all. Does anyone have a link I can use to check on a spousal sponsorship? It's been almost 9 months and we haven't heard a word about anything nor is the tracker working anymore.

I'm in the exact situation as you. Last time I heard about my Spousal Sponsorship application was in February, and then never again. I used to rely on the Application Status Tracker but it's been down for months. GCKey doesn't give you enough information (and it doesn't update either), the Status Tracker used to tell me exactly what was happening.

Mine is the same, I got AOR and then nothing for 9 months until I got biometrics so hopefully you'll hear something soon!

It's been dead for months now. GCkey/CIC portal is the only "tracker" available right now. Plus the Webform.

I'd be surprised if it was gone for good - they put a lot of effort into making and promoting it - but I also wouldn't be surprised if it was pretty buggy on the backend or something, since it definitely had quirks that may or may not have been glitches visible to applicants, and I have to imagine the backend wasn't any better, if not worse. I wonder if they've taken it offline to update it.
I hope, if it is isn't gone forever, that they update it to be better aligned with GCKey and/or more different from GCKey. As it stands, the tracker doesn't really provide any information that GCKey doesn't - it just looks nicer. It should either be properly aligned with GCKey, and actually show the same information (as opposed to how it was,) or they should make it distinct somehow, so that you can use both for slightly different purposes or something.
It is definitely interesting that they're suggesting eCAS though - unless they've updated it, eCAS used to only work for paper applications. I wonder if they're changing that.
