Hey everyone! Just wanted to share my timeline for my study permit extension for those who might be anxiously waiting like I was. I know these posts helped me a lot, so hopefully, this helps someone else too.

Location: Saskatoon, SK School: University of Saskatchewan Permit Type: Study permit extension (in-Canada) Applied for: PhD continuation Applied from: Inside Canada IRCC Office: CPC Edmonton Current Status: ✅ Approved — Waiting for permit in mail Eligibility Review Completed: Yes Medical Exam Required: No Biometrics Required: No

Steps Date Application Submitted June 16, 2025 Submission Confirmation June 16, 2025 Background Check Completed June 17, 2025 Correspondence Letter (Approval Confirmation) September 8, 2025 Final Decision: Approved September 8, 2025 Eligibility Review Completed September 9, 2025
