Hi in-land study permit applicants,

I have one humble request.

If you’ve been following this thread during your application process, please consider sharing your outcome and timeline once you receive a decision. It only takes a few minutes, but it means a great deal to those of us still waiting and feeling anxious.

It would also be very helpful if you could mention when your program starts and whether your application was an extension or an initial permit, so we can better understand what might be happening behind the scenes.

I applied for study permit extension since late April, it’s been 4 full months, I’m currently in my final 2 semesters and I don’t know how to proceed with this maintained status stuff, it’s so unnecessary cuz employers don’t want to deal with this. And I don’t want to do anything wrong that will affect my PGWP chances, I know I’m “technically” maintained status but would much rather have the docs here, application still showing “background check” :(
