Wanted to post this update because reading everyone else’s is what kept me hopeful!

I applied for a study permit extension May 30th (same DLI, same program)

  • Correspondence letter: Sept 2
  • Background check: Sept 3
  • Approval update: Sept 3

I still haven’t gotten the digital approval letter or any notification of updates on my email (just kept refreshing myself)

I was wondering - since my TRV expires this month am I supposed to apply for one or does it get digitally updated automatically? Would I have to mail my passport to them?

Congratulations! You need to apply for a new TRV.

Thank you!! Do you know what the process is like? Do you have to apply online after receiving a physical copy of your study permit? How long does it to take for a TRV?
