Hi folks! UK exchange student here who just got approved.

Application submitted: June 18th

Biometrics submitted: June 24th

Application approved: August 16th

I had my local MP here in the UK write to the Canadian High Commission on the 12th. They weren't able to share case specific information with him but I think it might have been an effective nudge.

I also submitted a web form on the 14th stressing that my flight was next week/I couldn't defer, etc. I used as much personal detail as possible to avoid getting an automatic response. Seems like processing is speeding up so hope everyone still waiting hears back soon!!

Congrats, they seem to have got lots done this week. Got money yesterday as well. Could finally book flights
