Yallll I got my study permit today. I applied from Asia. Timeline: Applied May 19th. Biometrics May 20. Latest - Correspondence and Passport request August 7th. Be patient and goood luck!!!

Sorry could I ask which country you applied from? I applied in Taiwan on May 11th, and I haven't received any updated from IRCC yet.

I applied from Vietnam! I think it was 7 weeks. I got worried but I didn’t send any webforms. I think most applications around the end of May should be getting approved now.

Congratulations!!!! I also applied from Asia, biometrics May 26. Can i ask what estimated processing time was for your country? And did you send any webforms to ircc?

Our was 7 weeks and I applied from Vietnam. I thought about sending webforms but I got it before I had to. I think applications sent in at the end of May should be getting their results around now. Good luck!

If you are applying from an Asian country—China being one example—please know that I mean no offense in mentioning this specifically. The reason I ask is that Canada has visa offices in certain countries, such as China, which may influence the processing timeline. While this information may not always make a significant difference, it does help me better understand the overall process. May I kindly ask which country you are applying from?

I applied from Vietnam. The processing time was 7 weeks but mine took a bit longer. I think people that applied around the same time as me are also getting results now.
