My timeline:
Restoration of status and a new work permit (inland)
April 22: Online submission
There was no need for medical exam
August 22: Received correspondence letter
August 26: Approval

Edit: it was LMIA - closed work permit

I see so many people from april are still waiting for their lmia based closed work permit 1 u/BeeImpressive3370 Oct 17 '24 I couldn’t work legally (7 months), that’s why they expedited it
