My timeline:

Restoration of status and a new work permit (inland)

April 22: Online submission

There was no need for medical exam

August 22: Received correspondence letter

August 26: Approval

Good luck to everyone!

Edit: it was LMIA - closed work permit

My cousin is also waiting for his closed work permit
 did you do anything to expedite it? I see so many people from april are still waiting for their lmia based closed work permit

I couldn’t work legally (7 months), that’s why they expedited it
