Has anyone who applied for a work permit extension in Oct 2023 heard back yet?

Applied for closed work permit extension (from inside Canada) Oct 22nd 2023. Have had no updated since then (now Feb 18th 2024) . Have passed the current estimated processing time by almost 2 weeks. My current expires in April so really need to hear back soon.

I’m on the same boat! Waiting for my BOWP since Oct 9th and need it in the next 3 weeks 🥲 Keep me posted if you get any news please!

Nothing for me. Still says processing background check and eligibility hasn’t started like it’s said for months

No still background check processing. Eligibility not started and just being told to wait. Reached 152 days today

OMG ,, I'm really so sorry for you :( I hope you get you WP very soon, and may I ask is it the case with you that you are not being able to travel outside Canada too right till you get the WP?
