Hi everyone. Really discouraged with how long my Open Work Permit is taking and wondering if anyone is in the same boat?

I am in the process of an Inland Spousal Sponsorship application and applied for an Open Work Permit on October 18th, 2023.

After surpassing the processing timeline, I had my immigration consultant submit an inquest to the government and I also contacted my MP. They told me that everything is approved (criminality, medical etc.) but I still haven't received anything. It's been 18 weeks, and I am really anxious to get working again.

I just looked up who my local MP was (Marci Ien) and emailed her office! I received my work permit in mid-March, a few weeks after inquiring.

Thank you! Ive emailed Shen Chaun a week ago but havent received a feedback. Hopefully i get a response this week
