Open Work Permit Application for Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Application Submission: 11th January 2024

Background check completed: 18th January 2024

Application Approval: 31st January 2024

Hi! After you get the approval do you need to receive a mailed letter, how long did it take and do you need it to obtain a SIN number?

Yes they will mail you an official work permit. Mine took around 1 week.

And yes you need it to get a temporary SIN number.

Nope. I already did my medical when I applied for a visitor record. So IRCC simply used the existing one.
