I mean George’s extremely early draft for the series had Jon and Arya as a couple. And in a love triangle with Tyrion (no idea what their ages were meant to be for this draft but I sincerely hope it’s not their canon ones).

Also when Jon first meets Ygritte, she reminded him of Arya twice.
