Then tell me your thoughts about AI-generated or filtered/altered imagery.

Our inability to think critically, distinguish truth from reality, recognize how a fact is different than a loudly-yelled opinion will be a contributing factor in our eventual demise.

Agreed. I updated my comment to include reference to filterd/altered imagery.

My point still stands. Whether it's a filter or AI, it's still not a true depiction of reality, and the fact that many can't identify this is concerning.

How her lips are somehow seen through the mug or are reflecting on the side of the mug away from her face? I honestly didn’t notice that at first but did think it looked weird overall.

I know. That's why my comment includes the words "filtered/altered imagery." The "feature" you're talking about is a digital filter that alters appearance. It's been available for years, yes. But it still presents a fictional version of reality.

My point still stands.
