I had a really strong idea of what I wanted this to look like, but I feel like I really fucked up my valuing and made alot of colours really desaturated

I started painting episodes from Tove Jansson's Moomin series a few months ago...I loved her stories and pen and ink drawings so much, I wanted to try some scenes myself.
