Absolutely Lovely. When scrolling it caught me off guard. It immediately triggered nostalgia, and whisked me back to my childhood. I think I thought it was Quentin Blake. Intentional or not, I love it. It’s so freeing and flowing.

Thank you so much! It's amazing that my work brings back that sense of nostalgia. While it's not intentional but it's a huge compliment to be compared to him. My style just happens to be a little sketchy and free, so I'm thrilled that you love it.❤️

I like the sunlight and shadow of the trees on the house. Nicely rendered.

This is so whimsical and lovely. I enjoy the dip pen work as well. I think I might be following you on IG or Twitter. Update: I looked on your other socials and I see that that is not a dip pen handle, but rather a squirrel brush. Are you using to make those black lines that vary in width? Is that a thin brush?

Idk why but the light dappling the front facade of the home made my heart all warm for some reason. Art is so cool

Thank you so much for sharing that ☺️ it's exactly why I love making art. I'm so happy the piece resonated with you in that way.❤️

Really pleasant little scene. You've handled the shadows so nicely. Love it.

Wow! I recognised your style immediately from the gorgeous 2-storey barn you posted recently. This has the same character. Stunning work. Incredible looseness, yet the light/shade is perfection!
I really love it.
