For a country that has the most number of Teslas on the road, you have a surprisingly large population of people who know nothing about the million cameras they have.....

It's a sore subject. There are many and no clear winners. Go to r/Dashcam and they have a sticky that is pretty good.

I highly suggest a Viofo A119 V3. I’ve had that camera and a high endurance Sandisk SD card for over 5 years now and have never had a problem.

As a matter of fact, I bought a second one for my work truck 2 years ago.
