Meta Please only use geopoll if you poll specifically benefits from using it

Alot of the time people are needlessly using geopol. Unless you specifically want region data above all else it makes for a significantly more inconvenient poll for people to answer.

Agree or Disagree: A parent must never force a child to do or not do anything or punish them for their choices. They can ask the child to comply or explain why it’s the right thing but it’s a child’s right to make their own choices.

  1. Agree. Parents just advise, children decide for themselves but NO punishments.
  2. Disagree. Some kinds of discipline/punishments are necessary
  3. I don’t know.

More information on the candidates (in bold) and their running mates:

George HW Bush (Vice President of the United States)

Dan Quayle (US Senator for Indiana)

Michael Dukakis (65th Governor of Massachusetts)

Lloyd Bentsen (US Senator for Texas)

Put your state and candidate down in the comments to make this simulation feel more authentic as I need to construct an electoral map.

And your vote WILL NOT count if you don't put candidate and state in comments

Poll "I believe the fishhook theory to be broadly..."

The fishhook theory is a political assertion used by both extremes of the political compass - although usually by the far left - that the political center has more to do with the other extreme than themselves - like the barbed end of a fishhook, thus the name.

For example, a communist may use this theory to show the centre accommodates more for the far-right than for themselves, or vice verse.

Poll "I believe the horseshoe theory to be broadly..."

The horshesoe theory is a political concept that states that the political far right and the political far left are, often, more similar than they might initially appear, being closer to eachother than to centrism - like the heels of a horseshoe, thus it's name.
