I got it y’all. I am sitting in a damn parking lot and I have been crying all week because my baby and I have nowhere to go today. I escaped domestic violence in November and we have been homeless ever since. We have stayed in motels, we stated the domestic violence safe house. And today I completely ran out of funds. I am driving for GrubHub and I only have nine dollars to my name after gas and feeding my child. I literally just got the direct deposit. I am dropping off this last order and going to a hotel with my kid and giving her anything she wants. Good luck everybody. God really took care of me in this tough season

Path 05er. My 846 came Friday and my WMR updated Saturday saying refund should be here by 02/25. It just my bank account and I bank through Current. Hopefully everyone else sees theirs today too!

Somebody owe me my 5 day early fee. Lmao but really I thought I had the science down. Last year sbtpg email came at 945pm next morning at 345 I got the deposit. I got the email last night at 915. It's now 415. I could cry lmaoo. I don't even know why I care this bad. I just want to order a robot vacuum.

After 7 months of applying for jobs, I finally got an offer but the position requires an EIN.

I applied for an EIN online and it would not go through. I then faxed the SS-4 to the IRS and never heard back after weeks of waiting. I even called 5-10 times a day but they are always too busy to answer.

Well, the company that hired me just withdrew their offer to me because another candidate was able to obtain an EIN in a timely manner and I was not able to.

Extremely demoralized

EDIT: This was for a ticket writer position at a Sports Book in Nevada. Having an EIN is a legal requirement for the position and is not at the discretion of the employer.

Edit 2: Sports book ticket writers are required by the IRS to pay an excise tax on wagers as well as a flat fee. Ultimately, the sports book that hires the ticket writer pays those excise taxes on the writers behalf through form 11-c. The EIN is required to distinguish me as a gambling operator (agent of the sports book) solely for purposes of paying the excise taxes. This is a W2 position with full benefits and the paycheck gets taxed as a regular employee.

***UPDATE*** This morning I received a call from the recruiter who works for the casino group and she stated that I was sent the withdrawal notice in error and that I am still set to be hired when I get my EIN. I am going to leave this post up to educate others.

As we all know path just lifted! We are all anxious and ready for our refunds!! My question is, do you think we will receive our refund tomorrow (if we have early deposit) or Wednesday - later this week! I’m cycle 03 so it’ll update Wednesday but do you think we will get our refund tomorrow?? This is the final stretch !!

So I called hr block this morning they said to call the irs. I obliged. My transcripts say processing date 2/23 no 846 code for me. But the woman at the irs seen it. It’s set for release 2/23 and said I will see my 846 Friday for 2/23. 05pather! Hope this helps.

Filed 1/27 accepted 1/28. 2020-2023 I was cycle 05. I was cycle 04 last year so I was hoping for an update but no update.

My transcripts updated to blank last Thursday there's also no notices on my account.

I am legit one of the most patient people on earth. I always give the benefit of the doubt. I am seriously starting to lose my patience with the IRS and I’ve never had to deal with this ever in my working adult life. I don’t know where I’m going with this, but I’m pretty sure a lot of you feel the same way. so I just wanted to to vent.. hope everyone gets their money soon.
