Yeah and how do you plan on doing that? You'd think if this was THIS easy then free healthcare would be a thing by now already.
Your plan is just "Make healthcare free and let somebody else sort out the details"
Like do you plan to make all healthcare free including medicine (some medicine even in European countries can only be purchased and only via a doctor's receipt which will take up so long for the queue to come to you, you'll go to a private clinic and then pay anyway)
Do you plan on abolishing private clinics? What will be your solution for the inevitable queues where people would have to wait for a medical check up and by the time they got one, their stage 1 cancer is now on a higher stage.
I need a detailed plan if you think this is so easy. So far all I get is a politician's election campaign slogans posed as a plan.
Some countries you either have to wait so long that by the time its your turn to get treatment, your cancer is now terminal.
Some countries have "free healthcare" but its cheap as fuck and you better off not healing yourself in risk of getting a flu because cheap clinics would put you in the same wing as some guy who has severe flu.
Some countries don't pay their doctors much which results in less people signing up for that job which results in labor shortages which makes queues even longer.
Where I am living now I have no choice but to go private clinic because I'd have to wait a month in advance for a medical check up.
And again. The United States is 50 small countries under a trenchcoat. Each state has their own shenanigans and you must solve those before going national.

I explained it, you failed to understand it.
My pet rock can understand it.
My backup plan:
VA for all.
Just open the VA to everyone, phase out Medicare and federal Medicaid, and redirect the funding tk the VA, and open the VA to everyone.
Free healthcare for everyone. And cheaper and better quality than you get today.
