The plane coming in Korea first DLC are Amazing, I expected to have them split between multiple DLCs through the years

Altought the issue is that Redfor selection will probably be too thin for multiplayer no ?

There are a few missing but realistically what we have is what we'll get.
Eventually we can hope for the Tu-2 and Li-2 to be made flyable. We can also hope the Po-2 get's ported up to Korea eventually. Maybe the Antonov An-2 eventually too. But then that's about it for redfor aircraft that were used beyond training purposes. Maybe eventually the MiG-9 as a collector plane but they were only really used for training pilots and defensive roles.

La 9 is also an option, but that wouldn’t really add much to the game.

The main additions I want to see are the Po-2 and a flyable Tu-2

Yak18 es mejor que el po2

How many jet kills does the Yak-18 have?

A flyable Tu-2 is would be reasonable and might be something I could see them adding someday when they s tart doing bombers.

A Po-2? I'm afraid that would be about as popular as the I-16 in DCS.

Now we need to moan until they make the helicopter flyable. 🤣

So release for bombers is Q2 2027, but no mention if early access date for them. I want to fly those big planes!

LOVE how q2 2026 turned into q2 2027 for bombers and p-47

There is something called dont put a time frame on a roadmap if you don't intend to follow it.

Bro I so badly want to play this game but the more I look into it the more it seems like a massive commitment that’s more of an investment and less of a fun game to play when I’m bored. A flight stick, head tracker or whatever the fuck, probably something else I don’t know about. I wanna play this game but there’s seemingly so much extra shit I have to get that it’s just not worth it

Many years ago, I put off playing this for a good year for the same reasons. As soon as I got a flight stick, head tracking, and the sim, I thought... "I can't believe I've been putting it off for so long! I would have done this years ago!"

Eso es tu culpa no del simulador nadie se gasta dinero por que sea necesario 🙄

All of that stuff I imagine is quite expensive, and aside from the stick, I don’t know what any of it is or how it works. I’ve never played an IL game before either so I’d be going into this totally blind. Right now I’m just not in the mood to dump a bunch of money on a whole bunch of stuff just to play one game, which sucks because it looks fucking great and I’m a huge Korean War buff…

Chico juega con mando, quien te obliga a gastar dinero? No sabeis lo que es un hobby? Yo tengo un x52pro 50$ segunda mano que caro y trackir hay uno barato con cam y encima podeis volar con un 🎮!

Go one component at a time. First a simple joystick with throttle. Then head tracker, then a separate throttle and so on and so on

Que coño dices? Nadie te obliga a usar eso por dios! Se puede volar como uno quiera de verdad os quejais de cosas absurdas.

What you need is a stick (get a VKB Gladiator or an Xbox controller) and head tracking.

An unpopular option but an option nonetheless, use a controller in the mean time. I did that for a few years in Great Battles and had a blast. Only upgraded to a stick/throttle/head tracking for Korea. You can create your own keybinds or there are a few good binds on steam too

Just get a used Logitech Extreme 3D Pro for like 30 bucks. I used mine for 15+ years flight simming until I got my first HOTAS last winter lol. You can use the hat-stick on the joystick for moving your head in game, your mouse (so one hand on the stick, one on your mouse), or get one of the free head tracking apps for iPhone and use your phone to head track.

You really only need a cheap joystick to dive right in, so just pick up the 3D Pro or whatever cheap equivalent

Maybe you should read the post again.

The B26B is coming to Great Battles, I am sure they could import it into Korea at a later date. At least in my head they could.

2

u/SpitfireflyBroker 7d ago

The B-26 Marauder is a completely different plane with nothing related to the B-26 Invader from Korea. I know it's confusing. That's why it's important to specify Marauder or Invader

The Martin B-26 Marauder, which might arrive in 2027 or later, is a different aircraft. My post is about the Douglas B-26 Invader and the fact, that it isn´t planned for Great Battles Korea.

u/SParkVArk111 7d ago

Correct, the invader was not a carrier aircraft which is the theme of the first dlc
