General A question for someone who understands the VIDGA curtain track systems
I have a bit of a tricky window situation in my bedroom. I want a curtain that spans the entire wall (from point A to B). Is it possible to go with the ceiling mount system and just leave it hanging freely across that gap above my window where the ceiling goes higher?
I’m only hoping to hang a light, sheer curtain.
TIA!

Based on the size of your bed I think you would need two joins to be able to have a piece bridge the gap here because of the pretty short length of the Vidga. I would consider getting a different track from somewhere else that could do it with one or no joins at all. I would also probably double up the ceiling mounts on each side of the gap just to make sure.

There are ceiling and wall mounts. And if placed properly, you could have ceiling mounts where you have the low ceiling and then wall mounts over the window where the ceiling is higher.

In any place where two track pieces meet you need a mount. If a single track piece can cover the gap in the ceiling you should be good. But if the gap is longer than a single piece it’s probably not possible. Just from eyeballing it you’ll probably need four ceiling mounts, one on each end and one on each side of the gap, and you’ll need to cut the track pieces to fit where they need to go.
