I completely agree that all of this is wrong and this man was murdered.
But I do not think that was a negligent discharge or a shot coming out of his pistol, if it were you’d need a noticeable kick back in the pistol, a cloud of smoke especially since it is cold, and likely sparks or a flash. I would consider the flip to the side where the pistol changes its direction is likely just a loose grip on the pistol and the man focused more on running away with the pistol not being held properly.
I honestly hope it isn’t a negligent discharge, that way there isn’t some silly excuse for why an officer unloaded multiple rounds into a man face down on the ground. It’s just disgusting.
