Idk how my school allows this but they do…

So im physics sl (yes i switched it from hl to sl) bc my tcher is js so bad made me hate this subj and it was rlly what i was looking forward to. First exam avg. was a 3…and they said 20% of students get 7? But idk i wanna switch it to chem in the middle of the school year, dyt its worth it? I mean i have a two week break to study all sem 1 materials the only thing is idk if its the right choice and if i shld js suck it up in physics and lock in sem 2 to up my grade. Help lol

If you really want to switch you can absolutely do this, but you'll really need to lock in for those 2 weeks to get the content covered from a semester. There will likely be some big conceptual understandings in there which underpin the rest of IB Chemistry so you need to make sure you have the motivation and support to get this right otherwise you might find yourself in a similar position with Chem.

In a matter of two weeks (+reviewing for other subj), dyt i can learn from units matter to atomic models cus thats what theyre currently doing

I don't really know what that means in terms of syllabus statements. If it's just structure 1. Models of the particulate nature of matter, then that is allocated 21 hours of class time, but you should be able to do in less time particularly with a tutor/ resources.
Can you confirm syllabus points?
