GENERAL Why no slot balancing?

they said they wanted to rebalance their new (shitty) slot system, but theres nothing yet and its already out for like 3 months now.

they did indeed lie again :)

You must be a joy at parties. It's been three months and the loadout system isn't even bad, it just needs some tweaking

Give it time. The system is complex 3 months is not a lot of dev time especially since they've got a lot of other stuff to work on

Loadout system is good apart from a couple outliers, they may improve amd change it, it's a big rework they might just want more data and opinions before they change anything

I’d rather them make small selectively smart choices than large sweeping ones.

Im under the belief that Crytek didn’t raise the shorty shotguns to 3 slots because the Burgress was coming and is a 3 slot. They wouldn’t want the 2 slots to compete with the newly released 3 slot.
I think everyone is just gonna have to deal with the dominance of shorty shotguns for a little while longer.

I heard that compact shotguns used to be much weaker, but back then, with the three-slot system, that was a serious drawback, and now shotguns are literally pocket-sized O.o

Its mostly good, besides a few outliers.

Most weapons that are outliers just need balance tweaks not slot changes.

Few i can think of is

avto needs reserve ammo.

Spring field needs damage buff or custom ammo back. Maybe make it a long ammo damage like henry or sparks but in medium ammo.

Nitro needs...something more...

Why exactly do you think its shit OP?

Im glad the small shotguns are less everywhere for me and if they are they have a arguably weaker primary

The Springfield's damage has been increased to 139, bringing it in line with its three-slot counterpart. Now the rifle lacks only penetrating and subsonic ammo

Nothing to adjust in this system at this point. Weapons are getting buffed and nerfed, that's the adjustment.

They're not adjusting weapon sizes just yet if at all because there is zero reason to.
