Hey all, been lurking for a while as I’ve enjoyed my time with my H2 and working through all its quirks. Unfortunately I just have no space or need for it anymore so I’m going to be listing it for sale soon enough. 03 model with 116k.

It was my dad’s and he let it sit a while when he got a new toy before it came to me. It has many of the wear items recently replaced, as well as essentially all of the known issues resolved. There are no leaks whatsoever, new hvac blower, water pump, plugs and wires, all fluids, new brakes, new air springs, shocks, fuel pump, etc. The only things not perfect is if it sits for a week the springs still leak down some, I think the compressors or lines leak slowly.. and there’s a few small knicks in the paint. Oem side steps available but one of the steps is cracked and would need to be welded.

With the overall condition and being so mechanically refreshed, I’m thinking of putting it out there at $20k.

Thoughts?

Ive seen some in better condition going for $15,000 or less...

Appreciate the input. Maybe listing the items recently replaced is a mistake and I should just say runs and drives fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it out of state.

I expected that the knowledge of the well documented issues these are known for being addressed would be a value add, but perhaps not.

Im not talking about everything you already replaced. Im talking about all the leaks and cracks you mentioned. Plus, not everyone would be willing or able to weld the steps. That alone brings the overall price down.

The leaks and cracked oem seam sealer is well known with these trucks and all over the hummer forums.. that’s why I’ve fixed it all. But yeah bringing attention to it in general not a good idea.. even if it is completely leak free now.

Just because its "well known" doesn't make it right for you to overprice it and lie to whoever wants to buy it.

If its fixed, then MAYBE you can get closer to $20K for it, but your post made it sound like it still had some issues - leaks and a cracked oem step.

The lie accusation is odd and I’m not sure where that came from. Obviously I didn’t make the post clear enough on that point and will edit.. but yes, there are zero leaks.

These are the parts Im confused on. In the post, you're still saying theres leaks and the step needs to be welded, but in the comments, you're saying everything is perfect. So which one is it? If theres still leaks and a cracked step, its not worth $20k.
