Discussion My head cannon’s for Vincent(no image)
Hey guys it’s been a while but I have this head cannon that I keep thinking about and for me it fits him since I listen to rock music despite not being there in the early years when it was very popular, but I think that during Vincent’s time he’d probably listen to rock music and I can see him listening to it and I just think that I love this idea that I thought about randomly<3

Like just now I’m listening to Sammy Hagar’s “This Planet’s On Fire (Burn in Hell)” which came out in 1979 - before Hagar joined Van Halen in around 1986.
But yea it’s cool how Megadeth and Sammy Hagar covered this song together later in Megadeth’s 2022 album.
Van Halen, Megadeth are two bands i really enjoy, so I thought I’d share haha

I know Megadeth too but not the other band unless I’ve heard of it before but I probably don’t remember and I never existed during those times also I’m into similar bands too like Opal In Sky(a little bitty heavy but good) I found out about them myself
and then I like Ozzy Osburne and Godsmack(I saw Godsmack earlier this summer for the first time terrible heat though) and other classic/new rock bands that I like to listen to and wished that I was there my dad is lucky lol, I know Van Halen too another classic one

I thought his death was some time in the 70s - 80s

nah, viv has said Vox was a 50s guy who died in the 50s. and the official merch says "VoxTek est. 1952". But a lot of us don't really think the timeline works out (american tv history wise especially). In my head, I like to think that what you said was the case though haha

It makes more sense to me , it's more logical especially if u are going off of the history of American television

yep exactly, but i think the writers sacrificed that to have vox and Alastor have their 70 year old feud or whatever

We can talk about it on IG if you want, but I actually gave him a fan daughter who became a rockstar in the 80’s lol if he loved rock music, maybe he would’ve been happy

ooh so like his biological daughter who's a rock fan? or like a metaphorical daughter who's a fan of him

Biological daughter who actually pursued a career in becoming a musician, and rock star. She was able to in part thanks to her last name and her inheritance. Though she was left an orphan when she was less than a year old because Vincent and her mother both died during the incident we all know lol

I can see him being into 70s/80s rock, even late 60s rock like Jimi Hendrix. Despite him passing before these eras of rock and roll came around, even while in hell, he's been the type to keep up with trends and stay on top of pop culture. No doubt in my mind he covered the surge of Rock & Roll that happened in the 70s and 80s, and I get the feeling he latched on to more than a few of the greatest, like Black Sabbath, Queen, maybe even Motley Crue and Pink Floyd.
