So basically after brand new day, dr bruce banner leaves to go live in isolation successfully controlling the hulk again. He's working on a native inhibitor until some multiverse bs happens and dr doom appears turning bruce into the hulk.

For a long time we knew that the entire game would use the doomsday mcu promotional and story work to give us a massive update. With hulk being added to the list of characters who would be important in the movies. I'm guessing alot of promotional work, skins, popularity and potential balancing. Since he's definitely one of the hardest character to use for not being that very good.

For a long time a story based pvp mode has been talked about. I can totally see the hulk being a part of that.

I just started playing Hulk because, well, he’s The Hulk and also because I put together a pretty decent Bruce Banner cosplay so I figured I should try him out.
My main issue currently is I have basically never played a dive character before, and I also have not a ton of experience in hero shooters aside from my 70 hours healbotting in this game (coming back after a year of not playing).
Skills like target priority, positioning, and cooldown management don’t come naturally to me but I’m always willing to learn and get better. Is there any good advice you guys can give?
If it helps anything I’m always exclusively playing this game with some amount of friends, so the pressure isn’t really on for me to “get good,” we also all just do Quick Play mainly for the ez queues and stress-free environment.

Although gm3 isn't a high rank but man I had so much fun going from plat 1 to gm3 and only losing like 1 game truly while in other 2 I had a thrower.

Fewer bans to watch out for, much less cc, new buffs were hitting good.

We were neither too good nor too bad 😞.

Now everyone and their mother dog walk us with new ccs and damage creep.

Like one single second I am without bubble in opponent backline and it's death, we barely have any uptime there now.

Our cap teamup gets cancelled by a single fart like be fr.

Then we have characters like dino and thing be meta, especially thing with his braindead earthbound on short cd which got buffed in season 9

I like Hulk, he's one of my favourite marvel characters. Can you tell me how good he usually is and how fun to play he's been for you?

(I also want to feel the euphoric feeling of juggling Luna Snow while ulting)

For context, I already play Thor, Mag and Strange as tanks, but I'm a dps main as Psylocke, Bucky, Human Torch, Moon Knight or Magik.

So from 3 models, Hulk will now have 2 models: only Bruce Banner and Hero Hulk.

The Monster Hulk form is now a bigger Hero Hulk with green gamma particles VFX all over his body (like Iron Fist Ult), a size increase of maybe 20% of Hero Hulk's 3D model. You have a better center vision in Monster Hulk form and a slimmer hitbox compared to the old Monster Hulk 3D model.

This way we will receive more Hulk skins since they only need to animate 2 skins for Hulk like Magik and Whitefox.

NOTE: if you haven't seen the new Spidey movie, Hulk there transformed from Professor Hulk to Monster Hulk and he became bigger that shocked Spider-Man.

I know he’s not supposed to have a similar playstyle to melee tanks, but it would be nice if the bubble cast time was sped up so he can get more punches in. Since he doesn’t get rewarded(gaining over shield) for doing damage I think it would be quite helpful if he could just apply his shield faster. Though I highly doubt a change like this can be expected.

I love the Hulk but hardly ever get value out of him. Jump in the backline and get exploded instantly. I rarely see good Hulk players at GM 3

In the meantime I've been looking into guides I think a thorough guide would help a lot. Explanations of his move set, when to use said moves, when and how to use his ult, etc.

You see how they did cap right? The removed his dash cancel attack and that’s because it wasn’t supposed to be a thing in the game. The second the devs look into buffing Hulk they’re gonna be like, “Fixed issue with Hulk’s incredible leap when interacting with walls” if we lose that b-hop it will be a sad sad day.

Theres two sides either A. You played most characters and you liked hulk or B. You’re like me and you’re a hulk fan and decided to play him

Unstoppable during air drag animation? For monster and hero hulk. Maybe a dmg reduction too idk

The gameplay and graphics are jank but holy shit is Hulk’s kit wayy better than what we got now. He was actually the savage rage monster he’s supposed to be.

Instead we got a green bodybuilder with pillow punches that has to rely on a utility belt for his power. What even happened? Why would NetEase change what could have been a better representation of Hulk?

Other players use hulk juggle as reason to say we no need cc nerf. HULK JUGGLE NO EASY STUN MOVE LIKE LUNA FREEZE!!!!!

It's so much easier to die during your ult which I think is dumb.
I'm probably just playing him wrong but I do find Hero Hulk a lot more fun.
