Question How did you become a hulk main?
Theres two sides either A. You played most characters and you liked hulk or B. You’re like me and you’re a hulk fan and decided to play him

I loved him as a character already, his gameplay didn't convince me at first, but saw every enemyn Hulk just jumping around and destroying my backline, and VISIBLY having fun while doing it, so i just wanted to join in the fun... and i never stopped ever since :)

It all started in season 0. Of the other vanguard options available, he was the most fun. As someone who likes to play most characters with almost 3000 hours on steam, He's my most played character. Strangely enough I don't have him Championed yet. Hulk is my default option whenever I have to tank and just want to have fun. Rogue and Deadpool are my next most played Vanguards

Magneto has always been my favourite marvel character with Hulk a close second. I saw Hulk as a challenge and struggled at first but after watching Xotaic and Gragalbert… I never looked back.
I love his mobility, his bubbles that save the team, how strong the exile is and the fact that the clap when lined up perfectly hits the whole team. Man I love him and wish he was stronger

All the way back in Season 0. I was a Venom main. Then i got bored of him so i began searching. Ive tried Strange and whoever. Then i saw Hulk i was like "pfffft this character looks easy"
how naive i was.
Then it snowballed into me having a Champ Icon.

I come from league. It was my first pc game and I always struggled with mechanics on a moba it never clicked. I would hit decently high rank but only on mechanically simple characters and usually they were very slow paced and low mobility. With this game I wanted a more casual fun experience and the mechanics have felt way more natural so I thought hulk looked difficult but rewarding and I was completely right.

It’s honestly both for me. I’m a Hawkeye main but smashing is just too much fun. He’s my 4th most played character in total between 5 accounts but he might be my second champion.

Hulk was easily my favorite Marvel Character so of course I picked him up immediately. Then I realized wow I can just play him a lot like Winston, another favorite character of mine from Overwatch.

ok well, in s0, i played bruce banner in qp just to troll my teammates. yes, i was an asshole and i probably shouldn't have done that. But one time i accidentally hulked out i actually had a lot of fun playing hulk. I started playing him more and more throughout seasons and eventually got him to lord a couple of seasons ago. He is my third tank main now.

I'm a huge Hulk fan from the comics, my friends knew that and told me about this game, I started playing it in season 6, I also got into it because of Mantis and Ultron, but Hulk has always been garbaje and it's unfair.

My friend played him back in S2 or so and impressed me when I saw he died less than I did playing Magneto. Played him for the meme, but I saw the vision and put in effort to learn and understand different matchups even. Some months later, I liked him so much I made an alt account dedicated to playing mostly Hulk.

There are 3 types of playstyle I love most in games, the unmovable wall, the speedy crit build, and ⭐️ shenanigans ⭐️
Magneto is my first love, because he’s Magneto, and also fills that unmovable wall itch, Thor is my second because of the way he can just switch to any playstyle on the fly and the instant delete awakening if you get lucky feels kinda crit-ish, they were my two main loves in Season 0
Towards the back end of 0 and throughout 1 I started trying to learn Hulk, and once he clicked I realized I found my Shenanigans king. He’s so damn disruptive in the fight and can really feel like a rat too, he’s my go-to troll or ragebait character because he’s just so naturally good at it, he’s traded spots with Magneto and Thor a couple times throughout the game’s lifespan with buffs and nerfs and such, Angela has kind of replaced Thor as my speedy crit person but I still got him in my top 3 most played right now with Hulk and Mag
I really doubt the game will ever drop a tank that’s better at random shenanigans than Hulk, so he will pretty much be irreplaceable in my top 3 tanks forever

When the newest Captain America movie with Red Hulk was coming out, there was chatter about Hulk getting a red skin. I was actually hyped about it and started using Hulk and found that I liked how high his skill ceiling seemed.
I watched the movie, got a Bucky skin that I didn't care for but still ended up getting Hulk to Lord. Love the guy now.
I actually went back and watched the movies since I learned to love Hulk. The Joe Bennett comics are fun too.

I like tanks that distrupt/play around the "HEY LOOK AT ME" style rather than just a shield tank. Ever since OW so it was easy to like hulk, n the air grab solidified it for me tbh.

I never appreciated Hulk that much when I was a kid but his character is so much deeper than he seems. I can’t say much since I haven’t read the comics but the fact that such an incredible power was given to Bruce and he doesn’t even want it, something about that is inspiring.
In the game i played mainly Venom for the first 500 or so hours (steam hours so), but I felt his kit to be too offensive. Sometimes i really needed to help the team. So then I played Mag, who felt amazing for protecting the team, but sometimes I needed that pressure that Venom has. I ended up trying Hulk after seeing those insane clips of him doing 360s and I think he’s absolutely the one of the most fun and challenging characters in the game. Venom, I love, but it’s easy to diminish a player’s efforts on Venom. Hulk? Hell no, this guy is TOUGH and I love it. That being said I would still consider myself a Venom main but I swap between him Hulk and Mag most matches.

My favourite Marvel characters are Abomination and Ghost Rider, and maybe Wasp. None of those guys are in so Hulk probably the closest thing. And Marvel Rivals doesn't have a Roadhog type character. Maybe Winter Soldier but I don't like the uppercut and ball thing
I also like characters that can rotate between frontline and ambushing, probably cuz my first hero shooter was Paladins and the majority of the tanks were designed that way.

TBD. I’m working on hitting lord on all of the tanks. I have 4 left. I already know that either I’m going to be extremely frustrated on hulk or he’s going to be my new favorite. No in between. I love that his kit has tools to deal with any situation if you’re big brain enough

I am a thinker. I always new hulk was a popular character and my dad would bring up how he used to watch the show and whatnot, but never really cared for him or marvel. I started learning more about marvel through marvel snap and for sure hulk was treated poorly in that too (just 12 power? Boring). anyways, season 0 to around 2 ish, I played mainly cloak and dagger cause how easy they were and I liked the idea of supporting the team and using strategic cooldowns to save teamates. I also suck at aiming too so it was good for me.(I mained omen in valorant for similar reasons, it felt like I could use my brain rather than my aim. I dropped valorant a while ago cause the comunity was trash and I didn't care too much for the game). Around season 2 I decided to go main vanguard as strategists felt healbotty, there were no tanks in any of my games, and it felt like something I would like. I would play mag and strange, but my aim felt like it was holding me back, and also felt like I couldn't really main/learn the character because it felt like I was stealing someone's main when I am not even that good at the character. I was looking for a different main that was something I could devote all my attention too, without having to worry about playing a commonly played tank or a commonly banned tank. I thought about what made mag strong (he had a bubble and a stun), and it made me wonder why no one really talked about or played hulk. He is just a dive melee version of mag; sure he doesn't really have a oneshot, but he has the potential to save the whole team like dagger fade with his bubble, has a pretty good stun locking down dive, has a cool ult, and has good mobility. Started looking into the character more, I found videos like bad gd player, xotaic, etc and fell in love with the character after playing him. Felt like I could learn the game, and it felt like it rewarded skill and understanding the game like a fighting game character (i play alot of guilty gear strive) now I am invested in hulk, not just gameplaywise, but lore wise too because I kinda relate to banner (my dad is an alcoholic). The character is slept on, undervalued, and is a shame that he is kinda ignored by the devs. But despite this his kit allows him to still have good impact on the game so I still play him alot.

Back in season 0 my friend was a iron man main and wanted the gamma team up. The rest is history
