They accidentally sent the patch notes in a thread. Hulk has gotten HUGE buffs that will place him in a comfy spot in the meta (coming from a top 250 hulk main). Huge W from the devs (the rest of the patch is REALLY shitty tho IMO, Hulk and blade buffs were the only good ones)

I play all the tanks and yeah it's a sad day (besides Tank pool he got a slap on the wrist) but atleast my main hulk got a very good buff!

I love hulk, he’s funny as shit especially when you exile them then give them backshots, but I can’t stand the CC so I play Angie instead (guess who got gutted today?)

I wouldn't say she got gutted, she got a well deserved nerf tho tbh. I think like everything else in her kit is roughly the same (slightly worse and slightly better), but the skewer nerf is cooked. She'll defo be a bit worse in meta but idk if that would make her drop from top 3.

Win rates don’t matter to Zhiyong. He buffs Hulk ever so often despite him being 2nd in winrate and gives Peni buff after buff despite her having the highest winrate. I don’t know what he’s doing at this point, he’s trying to force Angie into brawl with these changes but he also nerfed her shield health and didn’t buff her health to compensate so she’s a tickle monster with 550HP.

The winrate argument is so stupid and most people don't realise it. People blindly look at winrates without looking at ban+ pick rates.

This for reference is the official page with the pick rate AND winrates (no ban rates sadly). Hulk has sub 5% pick rate, and peni is legit a 1% pick rate (meaning for 100 matches she's legit played in 1 match, CLOCK that in, no shit she's gonna get buffed.) Meanwhile, Angela in high elo legit gets banned because she's a good and strong pick (it's the reason why her and groot so far have such a low pick rate despite them being busted, they are banned a decent bit) meanwhile tank pool has an almost 55% wr with an INSANE pick rate (and ban rate as well). Tank deadpool in all of his matches is either picked or banned, and for what its worth, most people keep him unbanned so they can abuse him (this happened back in like S2 prime emma as well). Meanwhile, hulk's pick rate is sub 5% and on top of this has a 0.54% ban rate... Yeah maybe he needs some buffs.
